I don't know ten different animes
Eric, Ren and Jensen were activists
Heads loaded with theory, their hearts are filled with passion
Shared the same left wing politics
Liked the same music, they were part of the protest movement
Now, Anna presented herself as a feminist
Studied the way they talked and dressed
Fashioned herself an anarchist
Eric fell in love with Anna at the meeting of the crime think conference
He didn't know it but Anna was an FBI informant

List your 10 favorite animes... GO!
Being a fan of anime, even I can admit that there aren't enough good ones out there to compile a "top ten" list.

You could make it easier and make it a "list ten anime that don't totally suck" list and I still couldn't do it.

If you wanna go in that direction, pick up manga.

being a fan of anything requires you to excessive enthusiasm and uncritical devotion to a thing. saying you cannot muster enthusiasm for 10 things in a single thing by very definition means you are not a fan.

here are 10 good anime in no particular order:
aku no hana, attack on titan, flcl, cowboy bebop, samurai champloo, ghost in the shell, gundam 08th ms team, big o, jojo's bizzarre adventure, one piece

these are just ones i've seen that are not ovas or movies and don't include other series and exclude the clause "the manga was better" because while i'm admittedly pretentious as fuck, saying there are not 10 good things in an entire form of entertainment is an absurd statement to make.

this doesn't fit in the above criteria, but watch aku no hana. it's 13 episodes so you can watch it in an afternoon.

A house without a tv on is just weird. My parents sleep with their tvs on but i sleep without mine on. Infact i like my room as dark as possible.
I am the same way; I prefer black curtains over my windows

i used to have a rebel flag with the words 'red neck' hanging over my one window. i got it at the last concert i went to with my ex, where at the end of the night i flipped out on her for being a huge cunt

I'll look into it. I didn't know they'd already turned Attack on Titan into a show since the manga started in like 2009.

i'm not caught up and thought the first two episodes were complete garbage because it gave me 0 investment in the characters and they're all pretty much babies and gave me none of their personalities, than potato girl showed up and i was like "oh shit these characters are not just bland grey paste but actually do things this is neat" and then other cool stuff happened and then that guy turned into a naked giant and punched a bunch of other naked giants' heads off and i was like woah dude cool.

I like anime but not a huge chunk of it. I enjoy watching it but I find it difficult to find shows I actually enjoy. I love the classics like original Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and such, but I'm finding it difficult to get into anything new. The last anime I enjoyed was Death Note.

i know people who are literal fanatics about anime who have a mile long list of series that are good in their opinion. i don't consume enough anime or care a lot of the time to finish a series or am too critical, but even i can muster the minute energy to compose a list of 10 anime i like.

no, you're not, because that's why there are different words for liking something and being a fanatic about something.

you can be a fanatic about plain cheese pizza. you will eat and enjoy pretty much any plain cheese pizza and you probably have a list of favorite places you can get plain cheese pizza from. a pizza fanatic will eat and enjoy pretty much any pizza, toppings, style, restaurant be damned. they probably have a list of toppings and restaurants that they can recommend too.

but there are different levels of fan, hardcore, casual, etc, so that's something to consider too. but telling a guy looking to get into anime that "i'm a fan and can't name 10 good series" is actually working against the very thing you claim to be a fan of.

if you're a fan, the meaning of the word fan specifically means you are not picky. you consume all anime with some level of vigor and excitement, every anime is an unblossomed flower waiting for your adoration of its foliage.

being a fan means you're always a dying moritsugu katsumoto recognizing as the life leaves your body that they are all beautiful.

your username is broken japanese and your avatar is a character from objectively one of the worst ongoing shonen series in the last decade. i would say that qualifies as weeb status.
