Lots of scummy ways that my vig could have failed last night. I'd like to hear from Jack and Wraith about what they did last night, so we can figure out whether that was scum's kill (flavor suggests so) or mine and whose kill was blocked.

Yes, if there's a passive bulletproof ability then we'll have to string him up the old fashioned way.

If they redirected it by targeting my target, it could have been sent to Pie for overkill, but I don't know why they would do that and not just bomb another townie.

Does Wraith's ability prevent mail from being sent to a player? Not sure if mail uses the same targeting rules as night actions.

We should ask that to Wraith before hanging him, I suggest.

I'm going to try to lay out a case here. Guys, please correct me on any points I make if I'm making Mafia assumptions I shouldn't be.

Ham, claimed that you could and would bomb someone. You are claiming that you sent said bomb. Jack is claiming he protected you. Only one person died tonight. Those are all facts that aren't arguable. It's also certain that Scum would have tried to night kill someone, since they have no benefit to skipping that action. There are only a few conclusions we can draw from these facts.

1. We have a Bulletproof Scum Boss.
2. Jack lied and Ham got Blocked.
3. Ham lied about being a vig.
4. Ham bombed the same person that Scum night killed.
5. We have a doctor who saved Ham or Scum's target.

I don't see any other possibilities. I ranked them in order of most to least likely. Ham, knowing your target would help me narrow down further. Without that, I want to extrapolate some plans.

nIf 1, then you tell us who you targeted and we lynch him. Easy peasy, and we confirm it when we lynch.

If 2 or 3, then we lynch Jack or Ham. Ham, did you get confirmation from Mod if your bomb went through? Jack is claiming that his night action was successful, so you should have some kind of confirmation, too. If you didn't, then it has to be Jack's just lying again. We can lynch him and confirm whether he even had a cloaking role. If he does flip with a cloak role, though, then you start to look extremely suspect again.

If it's 4, then Ham bombed one of the most obvious towny towns and he needs to be lynched.

I can't believe that it's five easily. We have a lot of claims on the table and none of them are doctor, so if I tell you guys I believe five, then I may as well claim to be the doctor and get myself night killed tonight. No thank you.

I don't believe this could have happened. Ham, you're a math guy. What are the odds that you picked the same bomb target you did when no one knew who you were going to pick? The better point is that they would never
overkill the same target, knowing that target abilities could be blocked. It's better odds for Scum to make an attempt to kill two targets.

I'm really starting to think we have to assume your bomb did go through, it just didn't kill the target. Whoever it is was protected, most likely protected by scum.

Jack already said he protected Ham and that his action was confirmed.

I didn't get a confirmation that my action was successful, but I got a confirmation that Stardust received it. I wrote a short message to my target, in the same format as the sample in the OP, and stated that I wished to use my letter bomb ability with that message.
