Good read, windrstrider - that should probably be linked in our Strategies and Games forum.

On a completely different note: has anyone else noticed that Larry's posting on Sally has been slightly less garbage recently? Are we actually beating some sense into him?
Good idea, red. I posted it in that forum.

He's getting better, though he mentioned somewhere that he didn't play Stromkirk Noble since he thought it was not good. He still has a long way to go.

He also said the Falkenrath Aristocrat was trash in any deck that didn't want it as a sac outlet and, recently, that Hammer was terrible. I mean, I don't like the guy and I'd veto him if he tried to join, but his posts in the last like 3-4 days have been significantly better than before that.

Gets 70/100 on first homework.

Answers are the exact same as on the solution sheet we just received.

WTF.
Sounds like a question you should ask the teacher.

When she answers, tell her she's 100% right, but you're only going to give her a 70 anyway.

No shit sherlock.

I figured out the problem. I did the hard part of the problem, but wrote the ending variable instead of the starting variable in my quintuples. The grader counted off for the entire problem, but was supposed to give partial credit. She's gonna fix it. I mean I legitimately misunderstood a basic concept, so if the whole thing is still counted wrong I can't really bitch.

I like math, but a lot of what I learned in college, I've never had to use. I can't remember a lot of Calculus or Trig.

I did Calculus and Trig in high school, and I have never used a lick of either. Well, sometimes I have to figure out speeds and feeds in the machine shop, but that's usually pretty basic.

Starting your day off too drunk to fuck, SM? Sounds kinda dysfunctional to me... ;-)

I always liked the one-off sarcasm of The Dead Milkmen a little more than DK, but they both had their day...

Tested the deck you posted in the brewhouse helio with stormbreath over scourge. Played like 5 games, but it's pretty solid. I'm probably gonna start testing blue decks soon since steam augry is such a cool card.

question about the R/B control deck with Desecration Demon and Master of Cruelties as win-cons.

I'd assume that deck wants a number of Anger of the Gods in its 75. Should that and Young Pyromancer be 1:1 swaps in the deck, depending on matchup? Or would Young Pyromancer against control and midrange be a bad idea because of their Anger of the Gods and other removal?

If you have a sufficiently high spell count and aren't maining anger the gods yourself, I'd play pyro main. The question is would you rather have a board wipe or a 2-drop. I'd probably play pyro man myself since demon and master are goodsized midrange creatures that should control the board anyways and pyro helps you get early board presence since you're probably playing 18+ spells anyways.

It's nice to get another 2-power 1 mana drop. His drawbacks could be awfull depending on meta (he doesn't want to step into room full of Mizium Mortars, Boros Reckoners and Anger of the Gods). For sure it's cool that he's one of the very rare creatures that can deal 3 damage T2. Getting through Caryatids and trading with Omenspeakers.

Both article sent by someone here about checking what kind of aggro is the most effictent & Wizard's article are making me consider playing 20 lands in my Gruul Deck. My curve gets up to 4 in theory, but I have Bloodrush on my bigger cards.

I fucking love The Misfits. DK actually came on my Misfits station. Hands down the best station on my Pandora right now. Just a sampling of what bands I've listened to this morning:

The Misfits (duh)
Danzig
The Ramones
Dead Kennedys
Minor Threat
Rancid
Operation Ivy
Sex Pistols
Bad Religion
Black Flag
Bad Brains
Suicidal Tendencies

Lol that's awesome. I'm probably going to do something more along the lines of Z's original build though; halfway between AIR and the Big Red.

Bad Brains and Minor Threat are about the only bands in there I really like. Punk isn't my thing. Which is odd since I like both Hardcore and Ska which are basically satellite genres.

My mom got her hair set on fire once at a Ramones concert, though. That sounded pretty badass.
