Shame your late night was wasted but looks like the reimbursement package is a bit better this time

I might get 3x BattleSkulls from this deal (though I'll never run more then 2) I hope the next event is on Wednesday cause every other day from that point on is going to be a struggle.

So I get 1 LED for 15 QP; am I better off playing in the finals or cashing in for two LED?

The other grinders are suggesting that we farm LED in prelims since they're value is insane.... each prelim you win gives you an extra 35 QP so you can keep on farming more + play the finals (if your good).

Prelims are modern? Or are other formats available?
What do you think about this decklist? Guy seems to be 7-1-1 in gp now.
Is this better than UWR Twin?

I just need to get this off my chest and move on with my life
MTGO Rant
What a shitty day so far - lose 18 tix as I'm not in the events I signed up for. ORC is helpful without actually helping. Lose in 2 man after mulling to 4 and still seeing no land. Lose in second after fucked up internet - opp's clock is counting down so I assume all is well but my DE doesn't fire so I check and I've been booted so lose game I was winning by time I get back in. R1 DE lose to a bad GR deck after failing to draw land, again. I understand variance happens but this is really fucking annoying. Anyway, deep breath, it's only 28 tix right WOTC might even give me 18 back and if I can just cash this DE I'l be back where I

I think that after this month, since the format is modern and therefore potentially too pricey for us all to play in, we need to look at forming a think tank to crush the MOCs finals each month. Next two seasons are sealed and then block constructed. I'm thinking notes on sealed pools, skype chats, whatever we need to do, but let's get a bit more serious. I am an extremely weak limited player, so I will defer to the more knowledgeable players for that format; but for block constructed I think I will be able to come up with something that we can use.

You are still on RB Aggro yes? It is a hard match, nobody plays the deck however so I never have to face it. It does not surprise me that you beat UW often.

Lost my first 8-man of the day after a close first 2 games, then drew 11 land in 11 turns. Dropped to 1599 rating, my e-peen has never looked so pathetic.

beat an esper control deck with UW control game 1 but it took 20 mins of my clock because he was being a douchehat and trying to time me out and I'm not used to playing control...fucking savages

yeah. you'll learn. play at a breakneck pace. timing your opponent out is sadly a viable strategy in control mirrors.
another trick I do is side out my elspeths and bring in needle naming Elspeth, then win with archangel or Aetherling

For the slow one at the back (pun intended) how can you time someone out? If you durdle about that affects your clock not theirs. What am I missing please?

On MTGO, if you don't win before your timer goes to zero, you lose the match completely. It runs like a chess clock, only ticking down while you have priority. If you play to draw the game out, you can force them to go through a lot of small time payments.

You get ahead on the clock and stay ahead, once you win of the first two games just play very defensively in game three
