Well, if you played at HQ around a year or 2 ago, I was the black guy always playing Grixis mushing on delver decks and control mirrors.

And does anyone besides Z have an opinion on barrage of expendables in pyro red? I posted in the RDW thread but currently Khaos's deck is getting the lions share of discussion(which is fine and proper because he's a sexy beast).

I don't like it personally. I don't think it represents as much damage as hammer but
don't think there is room for both in the 75

Barrage seems like an ok card. Low-impact one for sure - except of situations when you are actually playing Act of Treason, taking their fatty away and saccing it, dealing 1 point of salt into their injury.

Barrage of Expendables is worse than Tyramet if you're capable of casting Tyramet, but fine if you can't. I like it with threatens, too.

I'd say it's gonna be good against UB. They want to trade 1for1 all day and have no lifegain.

my first thought is it sounds amazing against the whip everyone seems to want to play. Gotta dmg the creature to gain life.

I generally try to avoid the Staff Lounge area, but I cruise by there every few days to see what new smilies they've incorporated for passive aggressive trolling.

Barrage of Expendables is AWESOME. Barrage+Hammer means you truly have a deck of 100% gas.

Did you find space in the maindeck? Or is it just sideboard tech?

What about SB Possibility Storm? Negates the idea of playing Magic: The Gathering for UW Control.
Counterspells will most likely fizzle.
Sphinx's Revelation will just never happen.

It's super powerful, but I don't know if it's needed in an already good matchup. Even UW is slightly favourable right now.

Any of our resident graphic designers want to mock up a DTR / FOS split banner for my stream?

I like the idea of the site banner (bright blue at the top of the page) as one part and some sort of FOS banner as the other. Open to suggestions. I want to up the quality of my stream, now that Theros is here. If I can actually get the cards (availability is an issue for a day or two) ill stream a DE this weekend. If not, sometime next week and definitely two events next weekend!

Could be usefull as 1-off in very control meta.
Also, Barrage of Expendables is really good for PyroDeck. Gives you an answer to big guys and Boros Reckoner. And gives you some value from board wipes. Not to mention miser UB which tries to 1for1 you all day. I don't think there's an issue to find a spot for it in PyroRed.
And gives you a good reason to play 4 Act of Treason in SB. Sad thing is there are no other sacc outlets in Red.
I still miss the deck that terrorized my LCS for ages - BR Scry Vampires. This guy played maindeck Mark of Mutiny and sacced everything he could borrow from you. It was actually very strong synergy.

I swapped it with a Chandra, so I have the 1 maindboard barrage, and the 3rd Chandra in the board.

If you get a nice banner image made up, I'd like to use it as well. I would like a 720p template where I could have a logo or two, the MTGO window at a sensible aspect ratio, and a chat box.

- Dynacharge: blowouts son. Blowouts. And random "my Zealot kills your Smiter, btch"
- ... Haunted Plate Mail. We're lacking on 4CMC slot. And it's nice to cast it against control which is supposed to sweep the board.

Purph as a 1-2 of may not be bad. It will basically just be pandemonium but that is sick with young pyro. Also if you already have barrage and hanmer and Chandra then him being active even post wrath is a real possibility. So, folks, where the hell can I find deck lists? Don't feel like back scrolling.

I'm most probably going to test Ember Swallower in this spot. I love me some manasinks.
Also, wrote an article about PyroRed and tried to slightly format it and export into .pdf. You can check it out in secret-secret Clan forum and then decide if I should even consider finishing it. I'd love to get Zem to write the most important parts of it (playstyle/protips/gameplan) as I already covered most of the dirty work like explaining some of the card choices and stuff.

I played both Preordain and WoO.
That's how you get 90% winning ratio against Aggro.

Preordain was just wrong to me.

I remember the meta being super reactive back then, UW in particular. Turn one Preordain was almost cocky. You're forced to make assumptions about what you'll need in the next few turns. Either that or you just look at the top two cards, put them back, and cantrip time. Derp mode. Preordain was bad. I felt so much above other UW players who used it.

Bad players played turn 1 Preordain blind. You're meant to hold them until 5-6.

Unless you were me. I wasn't reactive. I was UW TapOut. Every single fucking game.
