So, in Boros, Assemble the Legion > Hammer of Purphoros?

I don't understand, we really don't care about our life total, and so many times you can trade up with his fire breathing ability. How are they comparing it to legion loyalist.
The simple answer is they are bad players. They don't understand how little their life total matters outside of mirror matches, and they are incredibly risk adverse. You can try beating it into their heads over and over again, but they are entirely too stupid to ever get it. Let them think what ever dumb shit they want to think, it won't make it true, and they will lose game after game and never realize why. They will stay shop scrubs that give you the easy wins at FNM and pad your record at PTQs, and you should not lose one wink of sleep letting a fool suffer a
fool's defeat.

So, ive faced a few master of waves decks online and they are rough. The only possible way we can ever kill the dude is with skull crack + overloaded mortars, which is pretty much impossible. The games ive played i think im 3-3 with the game hinging on how much damage did i get through before he plays master of waves into jace. Anyone have any tips?

@Regarding MTGS people
That's why I'd rather tell them they are dumb. At least they become funny with their "where are your arguments?"
"The only argument I'd rather have against you is a hammer. Not talking about x of Purphoros, more like 5kgs which are smashing your dumb skull. That'd be probably the first time something actually GETS into your fucking head."

@PiP
Is... that.... a huge... bunny... outfit?
Why I've never seen one here like fucking ever. ;_;

Because instead of being an upgrade of an old all-star, it's a Bellows Lizard with a drawback and rarity issue for them. The next thing you know, they start running that newt in place of the satyr.

We should start encouraging them to play Bellows Lizard since it's also a one-drop with firebreathing that doesn't hurt you. That should be fun.

z, your girl is too adorable for mere words.

In the saltiest mood after flooding in playtesting against mono-black midrange.

I'm gonna go chug some sodium now. And maybe build a turbo fog deck for FNM.

I feel the urge to help people, offer a hand to others like I was aided by others when I started, pay it forward so to speak, and some people will listen, and it's rewarding to know that the people you helped stepped up their game. At mtgs (and several other sites I could mention) there is an active hostility toward good advice. These people want a pat on the head and to be told that the shit they smeared on the wall is a beautiful work of art.

There is a difference between being hostile toward advice and challenging advice as a means of ascertaining it's value and reasoning. The former is stupid the second is okay, if annoying.

Speaking of which, I noticed a surge of Red decks in last session of 2-mans. But apparently, some of them don't really know how to pilot the decks properly. One actually rage-quitted and threw the booster at me in Game 1 when I totally overwhelmed him with 2-1s.

Oh heck, I learned most of my magic basics from that game!

To this day, Dark Ritual>Hypnotic Spectre is still the meanest thing you can throw at those silly AIs.

And I have a soft spot for those tutorial videos.
