Dechs, do you think one of them is scum or both?
I don't believe they're both scum. I definitely don't want to fall into the trap that one or the other has to be scum.
I'm actually coming around to Jones' claim. In the worst case, he's lying and doesn't kill someone tomorrow and we hang him because lynch all liars is a thing.
I don't want to flavorgame this too hard, but I really do think Stardust made us all master
builders. I mean, that's cool because the game takes its shape from what we want to build, but if Jones is telling the truth, then we've got specialized builders. In fact, "Master Builder" might be this game's version of a vanilla townie.
That said, two days is a long time for a power to take to build. Three days basically means you'll never complete it before you're hanged or night killed. That said, Jones' one day to build a one shot, daykill shotgun is almost reasonable. Of course, I think he's an idiot, because he basically told the scum team to kill him tonight. Hopefully one of us is a doctor builder and can save him.

I don't like your use of the word "trap", your vote-hopping, nor the fact that you're trying to direct a power role.
Your light-claim is not helping your case
either.
Alright, so GR has three reasons to vote me here.
1. Use of the word "trap."
2. Vote hopping.
3. Directing a power role.
In reply to 1: I don't know what's wrong with using the word trap. The thought pattern that "one or the other has to be scum" is a trap. I could be wrong, in which case I go after a second town target after the first mislynch. I wasn't calling his question a trap; he seems to be acting rather defensively here as if I caught him in a trap.
In reply to 2: I had an initial vote on Az, then Jones when I didn't believe his claim, then went back to Az when I rationalized the claim. I'll admit that the vote on Jones was a knee-jerk reaction, but does a Az-Jones-Az vote pattern really admit of scum motivated "vote hopping?" Looks like exaggeration of my actions and an attempt to sling mud. (Also, while I believed Az was scum, I
thought this was an attempt to redirect a wagon and save his scum buddy).
In reply to 3: This is almost valid. Someone claiming to be able to have a daykill power on the next Day is an extreme threat to scum and an obvious night kill target. He's an even better night kill if his previously announced daykill target is actually town, because it sets up for a mislynch. Maybe I am directing a power role here. I thought I was just stating the obvious.
So, of his three reasons to vote me, two of them are highly suspect.
I'm not going to restate all of Az's case, but all of that is quite compelling as well.
Alright, I'm happy with my vote.
