It only took me 4 static shocks and two different 1.5kW ups (since the first one's battery is apparently defective - should have plugged it the first time when I bought it in 2009 instead of letting it lie around.

btw, the server is consuming 60W of power average. That's less than 5% of the UPS capability.
At this rate you guys get extra 59min for posting in case of full electricity breakdown. You're welcome.

I'm really bummed at having bought this first UPS, having it stored in a place I totally forgot about in the lab, then finding it, and obv. the battery is long gone because it wasn't even charged once in 3.5 years.
Its a good thing I bought a second one when I thought I had simply lost the first (although these babies weight like 20kg)

tbf I spent an awful lot of time pimping this server. I Bought the best motherboard available, I have one extra processor slot in case it gets more load, its got quite a lot of memory and then I have 5 different hard drives, 2 solid state, and 3 SAS/SCSI for roughness. Îts ready to stand the test of time. /bragpost

But you sure are butt mad about quitting the called on your own volition after not doing anything to stem the tide of the clan being ripped apart by the seams.
I sent you and Rin a PM to the extent of "c'mon, you guys need to settle your differences" in addition to discussing ways to save the clan in the clan thread but if you want to keep pretending I did nothing to save the clan then keep on pretending I guess?
