Also, can you believe this shit?

One of the referees for our game is notorious around here for screwing us over. The last time he played here he was yelled off the field and told that he would never step foot on our field again. Well guess who the NSAA (organization who runs high school athletics in Neb.) (they assign refs for the playoffs, regular season you find your own) assigned to us for our first round game. With him head umping the crew, we somehow managed to rack up 150 yard in penalties with also playing an awful game. At halftime, that ref tweeted. It said "Shelton sucks, they are going to lose this game." Nice conduct ref....

Guess its karma that a parent of a kid on our team knows him and saw the tweet. Said saved screenshot is going to get sent in.

Karma is a bitch isn't it :)

pretty sure I was an INTJ in high school but I was very borderline, so INTX sounded better

and sure enough I took it again and it said INTP this time, though the description of INTJ sounds much more like me... (efficiency is definitely a key part of my psyche and I'd like to think I'm a decent leader that steps up when there's a need)

IQ is whatever, I try to think of people on a scale of "competent" to "clownfuck" and their can people who are horrible test takers that are competent and I've met just as many clownfuck smarties.

I've always been a great test taker who's done incredibly retarded things in real life so I don't think I fall anywhere meaningful in the scheme of things either...

oh and RG in case that wasn't made clear/has to be stated officially

ENTJ, though last I sat the test I was still in college. IQ was 137, but again as many years ago as some folks here are old...I'm surely approaching the senility end of the curve at this point ;-)

Just got home from taking the kids to preview night of "Ender's Game"; well-done, character-driven telling of yet another great Orson Scott Card tale. The kids caught onto the cautionary side of the story a lot more than I did back in the day, probably owing to my generation pushing way to damn hard to have kids excel at every discipline under the sun rather than focusing on making them into good humans.

INTP here too. I fit most into the creative-wanderer profile, lover of systems and languages.

Fate is the deus ex machina in this story.

Love ya Z.

So I found one of the tests for shiggles:
INFJ
Introvert(33%) iNtuitive(12%) Feeling(12%) Judging(33%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

It was amusing to read the questions and answer so differently on the Introvert / Extrovert questions. I'm 100% comfortable talking to people I don't know or standing up in front of a group, but I do enjoy spending my time relaxing and taking long walks alone.

Since we're all showing brain penises I'll add to it. 135 IQ, 31 ACT, minimum wage. The last part stings.

And I'm surprised that there are so many fellow INTPs here. I guess I shouldn't be, INTPs and INTJs probably make up a larger percentage of the player base, in comparison to the population as a whole.

Thanks for the knowledge-bomb, zeman...will be reading it tomorrow after some sleep.

Just checked out Wally's here in the area (needed dog food anyway) and no CDR decks or shelf tags for them as of yet.

Last disappointment of the evening...just opened a bottle of Samuel Adams 13th Hour and I am not impressed to say the least. They did a great job on their limited-release pumpkin beer this year, but this is a total miss. It reads "A dark Belgian-style stout with notes of spice, coffee chocolate and oak." But all I'm getting is decidedly un-malty dark beer that tastes as if someone added one too many lemon wedges to a bottle of Dos Equis (only not even that good). Blech. I keep going back to it in hopes that the character will change as it airs, but nope. It's opening up to a decent BSDA, but it is not a stout and not what I wanted to drink tonight. Humph.

Actually, now that the topic of alcohol has been brought up, y'all might be able to help me.

I'm not 21 yet (next may!), and when I do turn 21, the drink I wanna try more than anything else is legit mead. Not mead-beer, but viking mead.
So the question to y'all of drinking age is where the bugger do I go to try and find some mead? Do normal bars even carry it, or would I have to pray it's in hiding in the corner of a bottle-store?

Raida, I get my mead from Total Wine. It's considered a "dessert wine" and ranges from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. Personally, my favorite brand is Chaucer's. Drink it and you'll know why.

You won't find it any any bars and mead isn't cheap. Typically a bottle is anywhere from 15-25 bucks, depending on brand and quality. However, I did find bottles of mead at a legit Irish Pub here in Florida. It was the kind of place that sold a bunch of brews with 15% alcohol. A bottle of Chaucer's there was 35 bucks. Way overpriced, but delicious all the same.

Most bars are not going to have it, nor are most liquor stores, you are going to have to search for a while, and the results are, IMHO, less than satisfying (not sure what I expected from fermented honey). But I know a lot of people like mead, so take this with a grain of salt. If you like black licorice,
may I recommend Jaegermeister, it's delicious, and will get an inexperienced alcoholic-to-be drunk easy.

From there move on to whiskey, and drink like a man. It's a bit of an acquired taste, but worth acquiring. And you can get fancy from there, for example I just got some bitters and I am enjoying an old fashioned as we speak.

Jaeger is acceptable only for making bitches drop there panties and tequila does that better. Personally, I hate both. Then again, I'm mostly a beer man myself and will only occasionally enjoy a scotch, or whiskey.

Jaeger also very good for "broadening the horizons" of good looking "straight guys". Personally I am whiskey man (and scotch is whiskey). I do enjoy beer, but I would take a good whiskey drink or straight whiskey over it given the choice, assuming it's not bottom shelf swill.

Jäger is disgusting. If you want some licoricy liquor, then go with black Sambuca. Or Salmiakkikossu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmiakki_Koskenkorva)...but you won't find that one so easily...or make your own... :)

Late to the whole IQ/Color Wheel thing, but here it goes :

I'm definitely Red to the core. Depending on how I feel, I may swing to U/R, B/R, or whatever, but I'm always Red. My card would be Hellrider since I'm pretty awesome, but I'm way cooler when I'm around my buddies.

I don't know what my IQ is, nor do I even care to know. I may not be a smart man, but I know what love is.

And whatever this GLBT thing is, I have no clue what it is. But everyone else does, so I'm just gonna nod my head and pretend I'm still cool.

Also, DS, mead is a man's drink. Much like beer, there are great varieties and then there are "pussified" varieties, like flavored stuff and whatnot. I think you just have not had the good stuff yet. I went through nine or ten different brands and varieties before I figured out what my taste buds were looking for. Now that I know, I proudly fill my tankard up and bump fists with Thor
and Magnus before raiding a neighboring village of their women.

I'd say I'm pretty dumb, but whenever I raise that opinion my surrounding disagrees.
My parents hate me because they see a wasted potential. I was supposed to be really fucking smart, long time ago I've had some IQ tests and I was suggested to be sent to the special school for smartasses, both me and my parents declined the offer as that'd render me socially awkward. So I was educate, d in standard, public schools.
I think I've done some pretty bad choices in my life. So, basically my results and skills were saying "he's gonna be great at writing stuff". I have some novel competitions won, got into national stage of the biggest, official writing/humanistic competition, didn't won mostly because of not knowing some grammar rules yet (yes, my language is really fucked up in terms of that - polish is supposed to be 2nd or 3rd most difficult language in the world, just after chineese).
And then I decided to go
for IT, because there's no job for people like that in Poland.
And while I understood most of IT stuff (hey, I was writing Master Thesis'es for my IT bros!), I just sucked at math.
My health issues (spending one and half of year in hospital/bed) didn't helped at all.
So during 4 years of studying IT I've passed 2 years and couldn't get any further.
Now I'm studying Psychology (weekends course, paid) and working in a shitty call center. Well, at least my boss appreciates my english-communication skills (most people who pretend that can talk in English here just read the script and if something doesn't fit they either have to ask me or say they will call back later - what a fucking disgrace). I actually think that talking works much better for me than writing for some reason, I get praised a lot by native speakers.
I'm also working on mentioned earlier researches on Oculus Rift in therapies and still trying to write my goddamn game's scenario.

So if I'd have to select my Intelligence in DnD
scale, I'd give myself 14. Wisdom? Probably around 7. Hey, remember, I was drinking denaturated alcohol and made my life one big fucking failur due to bad decisions. Not sure about Constitution though. I'm sick for most of my life. On the other hand I handle beating pretty well as someone's punches can't be compared to my everyday pain issues. And I've been working for last week 10 hours per day. So... 16 let's say?
People find me charismatic and good at leading, maybe mostly because I'm a fucking tyrant. And Strenght is like whatever dude, I've never been on a gym and last time I actually worked physically was like few years ago when I was helping out at our farm. So I'm 12 or less.

Also, Raida, hard mead is not something you can just jump ass-first into drinking - you really need to develop a taste for it first. Otherwise you might as well just mix Popov Vodka and gasoline because it's going to taste about the same.
