Today has been a day of unending frustration. The car stalled out while my wife was going someplace this morning. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and she was able to drive it back home. But by all that is holy, why the hell can't this thing run for more than a month without breaking down?!?
She took the other car, while I drove the other one into town to Autozone to get an idea of what's wrong. And it behaved perfectly. By that time, my plans for the morning were disrupted. After poking around the engine, I can't find anything wrong with it, which probably means another trip to the shop.
I want to push the damned thing off a cliff and never look back.

get on cockatrice for a few games, join the first standard lobby i find. Guess who is in it?
Mother-fucking Kahmal!
I beat him 2-1 with pyroboros. (would've 2-0'd him if i didn't fuck up) Turns out when you block an ash zelot instead of my mutavault with your wurm, you will usually lose it to a lightning strike!
I gave him a good game, in which he responded with leaving the room.
My most fufilling game in a loooong time

there's a large gap in play quality between players people expect when they see mountain across from them and the players that most folks in FoS are or have become over the last year. Kamahl was probably expecting the former, and got the latter.

Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
Son, I want you to know that no matter what happens between your mother and me, it's all your fault.

I don't know if those 2 are worth piecing out or if they're better to keep unopened and just get no use from them e.e

losses are usually more due to our deck being "buget-y" and inconsistent than learning things in dailies though unfortunately, as well as the extreme time sink for nothing for when we went 2-2
definitely think dailies are worth it, just not when you're not confident in your deck against the metagame

If you can sell them for more than $30 sealed, right now, do it. They'll be in big box stores and easy to get ahold of for months and months.
If you can't sell for more than $30, open them and play with them. If you want to actually buy a sealed set to invest in, you'll have plenty of opportunity in the coming months when they flood the Walmart shelves.
Also, someone explain to me the allure of white aggro. The deck is literally nothing but vanilla dudes and cards that protect your dudes. Pretty sure Boros Charm is the only card in that deck that makes you make decisions.

SCGLA Boros Mirror, player 1 has double Soldier and a Boros Elite out (+Mutavault), player 2 runs out two Dryad Militant (did have a Sovreign in hand he coulda played), gaining P1 4 life to 24, P1 swings in and P2 attempts to block soldiers with the Militants.
I understand derping (I did some bad plays last night) and it's round 9 out of 10 but c'mon man it's the mirror and you just played your own Soldier a turn or two prior <_<
[edit2] Match 2. Player 2 goes Plains Militant. Player 1 goes shockland, Soldier. Player 2... swings in. Oof.
[edit] re:Devotion RW vs RG, saw that match. Chaining up a Purph followed by Mortars-ing a Weird looked painful (Game... 2? or was that game 1)

7-1, Jesus Christ... Suddenly I have more confidence in my goals of playing at those things competitively...

Is it bad I wanna point out the 'irony' of a red mage saying that? Also, someone explain to me the allure of white aggro. The deck is literally nothing but vanilla dudes and cards that protect your dudes. Pretty sure Boros Charm is the only card in that deck that makes you make decisions.

I noticed that just like Esper players are always making snide comments about mono-red being bad, I see a lot of red players hating on White (usually GW).
Can't we all just get along ;_;

verbally eviscerate you for perpetuating the "all you do is turn things sideways" viewpoint.

It was a joke Fate, ergo the winky face ;P
And IP, it's just like how every state has another state it talks a lot of shit about. (More then they talk shit about the rest)
For instance, I live in Georgia, and GA's pet whipping-state is Alabama. We mock it mercilessly.
