Lands is a cool ass deck. I think it'd be hilarious if someone brought it but that deck is hard as hell to pilot. But lol at proxied Karakas.

Slight update. I went through the wreckage. Only four rooms have actual fire damage. My storage roo. Laundry room, bath room and kitchen. Some how the fireddidn't enter the two bed rooms. I have some heat damage in each but a lot of smoke and water damage. We salvaged what we could. Ended up with most of my dvds, past a certin point the heat actually mealted any plastic. But most were saved. All my video games. ( they were in a glass cabinet) the Xbox looks shot a lot of smoke damage. My comics survived they were on a box on the floor I bag and board so they didn't get hit. And apperantly I got lucky my magic collection looks intact ( mostly) my box of commons and uncommons was splated by water and gone but my rares and my red stuff for t2 actulay survived by some odd ball stroke of luck that found them getting knocked off my desk and into a box and didn't get to much water or smoke. Ended up with less then 50% of my
cloathing anything that wasnt on a drawer is ruined beyond washing.or was in the dirty hamper and burnt up. So I'm not to bad off, homeless but I have one cat still alive some of my cloathing and some of my things. Need to go get a new social security card and birth certificate those were both iny files in the storage room. Guys I thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Kind words and empathy are what I think I need most right now.

Being a victim with a house being soaked badly before, I can surely understand how that feels. Just give me a message as well, warwizard, and I'll see what I can do.

On the other hand, variance kicks me in the butt by handling me hands with 1-land (Muta) keep in 2-mans.

Warwizard: That's...better, I guess. You still have a cat to cherish, Magic cards to play, comics to read, and (based upon your punctuation mistakes and sentence structure) a smartphone.
Two questions:
1) Do you have a place to stay until things get sorted out?
2) Are you still able to take care of your cat?

@ LK - We're gonna have to talk about that cig thing, my brother-in-arms, but I'll save that particular bit of pontification for another time (and yes, I speak from the perspective of the other side of the butt as well...you know it pretty well comes with the uniform and the band of brothers).

As to the sister sitch...peace be with you, man. You're an intelligent, logical man with a level head and a realistic world perspecitve...all of which will not mean jack shit in that room full of hormone-ramped women. Just remember that no matter how pissed and volatile they get with one another, they will come together in a hot minute and strike you down like the Hand of God if try to promulgate any logical and rational action that circumvents their process. Because remember, that at the heart of it all, YOU ARE A MAN AND IT IS YOUR GODDAM FAULT BECAUSE GUYS CAN'T KEEP THEIR JUNK IN THEIR PANTS!!

Just something to hang in the
back of your mind for whenever it seems like a good idea to suggest rationale courses of action...save it for later, my friend.

------------------------------

And to echo redthirst:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CALAMITY! Hope you had a great day and fist-bumps from your clanbros!

LP, that's some serious shit.
Well, as the younger sibling I see the situation from her standpoint. I could call myself a walking definition of bad decision. That's why I will never forget that my bro was always there for me. He was with me when I was basically stepping into very heavy drinking stage, he was there when I had my first pain attacks when I basically wanted to scratch my face off from the pain I didn't knew yet, he was there when I basically fucked up 4 years of my education. Can't push my/his ideals onto you, but I'd say: be there for her when she's going to need it. You are smart man enough to know that this plane is going to crash sooner or later. And as younger sibling I'll tell you that she's really going to need your help.
At least that's what I think.
Slight update. I went through the wreckage. Only four rooms have actual fire damage. My storage roo. Laundry room, bath room and
kitchen. Some how the fireddidn't enter the two bed rooms. I have some heat damage in each but a lot of smoke and water damage. We salvaged what we could. Glad to hear that man. Apparently Red gods are with you, begging the flames at the deciding moment to not let them touch sacred mountains.
Okay, this joke might be too much.
Still, it's good you're not empty handed. You'll have to rebuild lots of stuff in your life, but remember it gives you many opportunities you didn't had before.
Also, sorry - I can't afford spending a single penny. I already eat anything once per three days and my financial situation just doesn't get better. At least I slowly become slim and fit again.

Yeah...and Olde Frothingslosh could surely be described as beer...but you couldn't pay me to drink it.

Seriously...what a pile. I know the guys at SCG are under the gun to produce content, but is it any wonder that such garbage concepts show up on Sally with this sort of tripe being promulgated? I mean, I am GUILTY of trying to run pet decks/cards that I had no business running in a given meta, but this? Sheesh.

Pretty sure I played against something similar to that round 4 at the open. Turn 1 stomping gorund, sure. Turn 2 cackler? K. Turn 3 dreg mangler? Reckoner bro. G2. Turn 1, mountain cackler, shock it. Turn 2, no land cackler? Shock it. Turn 3, temple pass. Reckoner bro. Scoop.

The one thing I like about that list is that Caryatid evolves experiment one. Things I don't like about the list? It plays caryatid and experiment one in the same deck. Theoretically it works, but it's offensive to my sensibilities of what an agro deck should be.

@Photo. Basically had that entire conversation with my father. Including the butts(he's also gone through the uniform bit). I do not look forward to the visit home. Distraught grandmother, Angsty sister, and my aunt being...my aunt. *sigh* This should be a riot.

Need to make something sweet. A kibler deck sounds good. Need to beat agro and control.

Step 1, mana: 3 elvish Mystic, 4 sylvan caryatid.

Step 2, Aggressive and/or big green creatures: 4 Lotleth troll, 3 Polukranos 2 Dreg Mangler

Step 3, Disruption: 3 Abrupt decay, 2 Hero's Downfall, 3 thoughtseize.

Step 4, Filler: To be Continued.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.
