Poland's largest export is vice.

Bread's like $20/loaf and booze is $2/gallon.

The only things you can do cheaply there are things that you shouldn't be doing.

ALOT of my family smoked, and the old farts are dying of lung cancer (x5 so far within 5 years time today). I can't smoke due to asthma and extreme acute sense of smell. Just can't stand the smell of cigars, cigarettes, and alcohol passing threw my pallet. Now if it's Doughnuts or steak; now we're talkin. If the smoke gets bad for me; I just leave instead being an ass as it is a right/freedom in my eyes to cook your own damn lungs. Not many smoke at my FNM location, but many use that inhalant smoking machine (electric cigarette without tobacco?). They look as if they need their binky every few minutes with it and seem more addicted to it than a real smoker. I never say anything to them as I don't care, but find it is noticeable with all the teenagers using them.
Here is a funny story for you all. When my dad was little he bought some of those exploding sticks you put in the cigarette. Back in the day, families had
parlors for visiting and smoking. My dad loaded many of the expensive cigarettes with these sticks and one with 4 in it. His mom invited a prominate neighbor over for a talk and smoke. As reported by my grandmother, she offered a cig. and it exploded. They had no idea what happened or new such devious devices existed. She gave apologies and offered another; it exploded. (note that these explode after some smoking and not immediately). The neighbor is so upset and burnt that she is ready to leave, but my ever so kind grandmother talks her down for another cig.. She hands her the one that my dad had loaded 4 in. My grandmother would not describe anything further beside: words were exchanged, hair was burnt, and the family was never invited to anything hosted by the neighbor. My dad got home from school and was questioned if he new anything about said event and was response was a laughing....yes...big trouble followed.

I finally found this corruption report many of you have spoke of. O_O WTF? It
reads as if a creature born of Bobby from Supernatural and Mozzy from White Collar wrote that. Funny as shit though. If only our media would report the news like that.

Anyone play Call of Duty Ghosts? It has bots as the last one did! I know some of you might give me shit about it, but its fun with friends over. Batman Arhkam Origins is down till an update is given to stop the constant corrupt saves. Really pissed about that. Anyone else having that issue on Xbox 360?

warwizard87, Have you checked with your church (if you attend one)? They quite often have funds, items, and help for victims of home burnings. Also, I did not see how the fire started, but some states, cities, and counties have charities for victims of arson. Might be worth looking into if it's arson (need investigator report to state that of course).

I want to build a deck with all the grindy R/x cards

Young Pyromancer
Tymaret, the Murder King
Chandra's Phoenix
Chandra, Pyromaster
Magma Jet
Pyrewild Shaman
Wild Guess (still in standard!)

And then just lots of burn. Any other cards in standard that fit the "grindy R/x" type?

Boros Reckoner can be fairly grindy. It's not recurable and all that, but I'd call it sideboard against a creature deck, against who it's super grindy :P

nice! all 3 are fine suggestions, Ham.

@ Raida: Reckoner would be a SB option likely.

But let's not kid ourselves - I'm not trying to build a list that will take down a GP or anything. Just fun and grindy R/x.

Not surprised at all that Red smokes Luckies. Every time I smell their blend it conjures up the image of a life-torn badass.

I quit the nicotine but still enjoy occasional clove cigarillos and THC, especially over coffee.
So high, so low, so many things to know.

I'm wondering when they're going to invent that Nuke drug from Robocop 2.

My random thought for the day.

Synthesized Dopamine is more likely. Many have died trying to create it as it would more in demand than other drugs. There are less side affects than lets say meth or cocaine.

It's not exactly hard to have less side effects than meth, though.

Speaking of, it disappoints me that we've been so long without a good ole fashioned talk about red's crank.

Red getting hated on again! http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=11489

Author of article was Ryan Hipp.

"Many people complained at me, saying Monored is the best positioned deck at the moment. It doesn't matter that it's no fun to play. So I put it to myself to find a monored list that is fun to play while still being competitive. A friend dared me to find a 'monored' list that I could find fun to play. Well here is what I came up with."

Excuse me, but Esper and Mazes end decks/games have to be the most boring ever.

His strongest statement in the entire article, "but it's not worth posting".

It had something to do with magic cards and poorly drawn conclusions. It was probably written by someone that follows the Cedric Phillips style of Magic.

Don't care. Meant it due to bang head matches last 2 months at my FNM, but with MBD, I have no issues now. If you win with it; points to you. Guild gates are not mountains. Neither are swamps for that matter.

That's a bonus. You don't get as mentally fatigued (not because it's easier, but simply because it's quicker), you get to fit in lunch and snacks, and I've even gotten some naps in. Plus you can scout around to figure out what you'll be up against.
