Indeed. I got it partially on the fact that my father used to drive a Honda Accord and that thing just never quit. 275k and it ran fine. Even after my sister completely totaled it it started up perfectly despite looking like it got trash-compacted. The one I got as a '00 and I expect it to make it at least 150k more miles.Kaze: Excellent decision. It may not be flashy, but it's a solid car that'll treat you right for years to come.
It has an Apple sticker in the rear window I can't seem to get removed, though >.>

Asus is like Mercedes amongst the cars. Very solid, but also overpriced.
HP is... well, it's HP. Very undercosted computers with power and some neat tricks (arguably the best built-in speakers ever. high quality, loud as fuck), terrible technical issues (AC adapter burned out hairs out of my leg once; their repair service is probably the worst repair service ever).
Lenovo is awesome for low-power notebooks. These are non-exciting, but just solid as fuck. They seem to be technical beauties.
Apple is awesome if all you do is internet/music/videos. I think there's no modo client for it though.
Don't really know that much about Toshiba. I think they are good.
Acer is like wtf this shit is so poor. Don't ever think about watching youtube video without headphones or external speakers.
Sony is similiar to Asus. But even more overpriced while packing some good stuff not in terms of power of PC but in terms of the quality.
nMSI was kinda good when they started making laptops. My friend bought a fantastic MSI few years ago. But now I've heard some bad stuff about them. Still, I'd check some cheap gamer laptops ... as long as you don't mind terrible, childish design.
http://www.notebookcheck.net/
I used this site a lot to check some details about certain laptops I wanted to buy. They show important stuff like angles of the screen, mutliple benchmarks and how cool the laptop is.
I could fry some eggs on my old HP. So really, consider that when buying PC.

Asus is like Mercedes amongst the cars. Very solid, but also overpriced. Nope. You're paying for better build quality.
HP is... well, it's HP. Very undercosted computers with power and some neat tricks (arguably the best built-in speakers ever. high quality, loud as fuck <- You can get good speakers in almost any brand.), terrible technical issues (AC adapter burned out hairs out of my leg once; their repair service is probably the worst repair service ever) 1 instance doesn't make a brand have terrible technical issues. I had no problems with the repair service..
Lenovo is awesome for low-power notebooks. These are non-exciting, but just solid as fuck. They seem to be technical beauties. [b:
3dxiquvv]This is true. Lenovo & Apple are probably the best in terms of being solid, with Asus falling close behind.[/b]
Apple is awesome if all you do is internet/music/videos. This is absolutely wrong. Many, many software developers use Apple because OS X is solid as fuck. You can do a hell of a lot more than those three things on a Mac. They also have the best build quality, by far.I think there's no modo client for it though. Sadly true.
Don't really know that much about Toshiba. I think they are good. They're fine, but if you want a real laptop, you aren't buying Toshiba anyway.
Acer is like wtf this shit is so poor. Don't ever think about watching youtube video without headphones or external speakers. This is true.
Sony is similiar to Asus. But even more overpriced while packing some good stuff not in terms of power of PC but in terms of the quality.Sony is supremely meh.[

Still, I'd check some cheap gamer laptops ... as long as you don't mind terrible, childish design.MSI used to make way better stuff, but the more popular they got the lower their QA has become.
Fixed. This is what I do for a living, so....

Helios is a consumer coach? >_>b
Asus has always been good to me. I had a two year warranty on it, and like 1 month before it expired cracked my laptop screen, sent it in and it was re-shipped to me new screen no problem.
its also where you want to be at for a gaming lap top if thats what you're into
the only drawback is they're fucking french.

My name is derived from the French General so I do have some idea of Frances contribution to the success of 'murica.
But seriously, fuck France. Granted, Paris is like, the worst place in the world.
As far as military record goes, I'd say ours('murica's) is what we use to justify our dickishness. Have you SEEN an A-10? It's a flying fucking gattling gun with a shark face. Who want's to fuck with that?

The American aversion to the French really baffles me.
1. Paris is awesome. Admittedly I've been there three times and speak French. And like French women.
2. Military tech =/= military record.

Need a good gruul two-drop. Experimenting on Jon Sterns Gruul beats deck, but I don't want to play sylvan caryatid and instead am looking to add Ghor-clan rampager and...some good gruul 2 drop. The only thing non-embarrassing that's coming to mind is the guildmage since he's not a terrible topdeck and is a reasonable manasink.

Most contemporary dislike for the French stems from France not supporting American proposals to the UN to invade Iraq back in the 90's. DESPITE the fact that the French president at the time supported the Gulf war and DESPITE the fact that they decided to place all the French forces at the time in the Gulf anyway. ShitMedia spun it as France having a stake in the Iraqi oil noise at the time, and presto. Hating the French became in vogue.
As for the "surrendering" part. Hai. Hitler was a thing. France was small, the Wehrmacht was not. Not to mention the British and Belgians got their asses stomped, too.
