It depends on if the airplane is loaded with fuel or not.
Posted: Thu Oct 02, 2014 6:08 pm
by Col. Khaddafi
Yeah the problem with 9/11 was that the planes had just taken off so they were loaded with fuel. It wasn't the impact per se that led to the collapse, but the resulting fire who ended up compromising the structure.
Also wow, this was posted in 2000

Being a materials engineer by training, many of the customers who come to buy subs will ask me about this, and whether or not I think it's a conspiracy. I point out that we have no real idea of what happens to steel at those temperatures and at that scale. The testing we do (and by we, I mean materials and mechanical engineers who are actually working in their field) is on a small scale for the most part, mainly for simplicity and cost, meaning that we rarely get the chance to see full scale failure in action. That's especially true in a case like this where there's a huge impact force followed by intense heat, something that we would simply never try to model for. Most of these people think I'm crazy for thinking that the US government likely wouldn't kill their own citizens, but without proper evidence one way or the other, that's just my default assumption.

With delivery, that will come to $1890.20. Would you like to make it a combo for an extra $2?
Posted: Thu Oct 02, 2014 7:05 pm
by Khaospawn
Does the combo include cookies?
Posted: Thu Oct 02, 2014 7:30 pm

Total comes to $1892.40. How will you be paying?
And what kind of cookies would you like? I personally recommend the double choclate, but it looks like maybe you could better use just a plain oatmeal... Or maybe skip the cookies all together?

Nah. I seriously believe that the pack-cracking algorithm is programmed to only give Mythic Rares (and Special Mythic Rares) to people who are playing a limited event.

But I figured, which such pricey rares in the set it was worth a shot. Netted $6 bucks so I'm happy with the result

I expect that value to rise once the set stops being drafted. I want it for my silly casual decks however, not thinking of getting rid of it right now.

The 9/11 did Jews
Posted: Sun Oct 05, 2014 4:59 am
by Gatts
The Jews were indeed behind 9/11. It was an effort to curtail freedoms in the US and promote support for Israel against the Arabs.
