I stand corrected. Your methods are tough, but fair.I was going to have sex with thirst in front of her. Duh.Are you sure you want that? You may not have a daughter after he's done. Then he can prove to her the truth of it.red's dick creates blackholes on a daily basis. If I had a daughter, I'd tell her that sex creates devils and
blackholes and if I ever find out she's doing it, I'll kill the sumbitch who stuck is whowhodilly in her.

In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

Yeah I'd probably play GR Tron if I needed to play modern, using this maindeck:
[deck]
1 Eye of Ugin
2 Forest
2 Ghost Quarter
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
4 Urza's Mine
4 Urza's Powerplant
4 Urza's Tower
1 Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
3 Wurmcoil Engine
4 Karn Liberated
4 Ancient Stirrings
4 Expedition Map
3 Oblivion Stone
4 Prismatic Sphere
4 Prismatic Star
4 Pyroclasm
4 Sylvan Scrying
4 Relic of Progenitus[/deck]
Then go from there with your board, I'd consider:
- stonerain
- combust
- spellskite
- nature's claim

GR Tron is a much better deck than U Tron.
Actually shocked that you would play GR Tron, Zem. Doesn't seem like you're kind of deck. Not that I don't like the deck or anything, I just would have pegged you on something else.

I hate modern.
I'd play Tezzerer, but I can't in good conscience encourage someone else to play it. Even if it's awesome.

I'd play BUG, now that I've had the opportunity to think.
How many GP or PT top 8s does Mono U Tron have? Still zero?

Most important part to being successful in big formats like modern and legacy is playing a deck you enjoy. Yeah, there are tier 1 decks, but the formats are so open, that tier 1.5/2 decks are equally capable of being highly succesful since player skill is usually the biggest factor.
I'd personally suggest, B/W tokens, UR Twin(snapcaster tempo version), or Jund. But again, these are all decks I enjoy a lot and you have to find something suitable to your style(s) of play.
For instance, Melira Pod is a tier 1 deck, but if I tried playing it in a big event I'd probably 0-2 drop. Kiki-pod on the other hand, I could see myself doing well with.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.
Beatdown is hard, though.

Scapeshift has gotten hated out unfortunately, at least where I play modern. It's gotten caught in the crossfire of hate for other decks.
I'm not playing modern currently but when I get back into it I'll probably play UR or grixis delver.
Now that you mention it, where's that grixis delver list you mentioned Z?

Its not down, just scroll down to play.So MODO is down for a month. Wonder if they'll compensate me for the ~$500 this costs me.
Its a grinder thing, though right now its slightly harder to pull wins (you don't get as many byes) more Big Red/RedWhite, BG/x and Gx flying around - UW also gotten much harder (trading post, elixir, paladin anyone?).A month???

Last deck I had any sort of fun playing in Modern was UR Storm pre banning but who wouldn't
have fun just jackin off all your cards onto your opponent. UWR Twin variant was pretty fun and may try it out again. Going to take this advice and see what I do. Kiki-Pod is interesting also. Have a modern tourney this Saturday followed by a Standard tourney Sunday.

I would but my brother is currently running it. We are both expecting him to be hated out of the meta after his last performance with it. People tend to get scared in our meta, shit bricks, hate out the big dog, and lose horribly to shit they probably had a chance at winning.Scapeshift. Win with Mountains.
