I'm playing the robots he gave me -- im trying out both the blue and the red version -- the red version seems to be the most fun to me, especially since so many decks hurt themselves with their lands so much. I'll see which one I end up liking better =D.

MDU:

What deck were you running that Affinity beat up so badly? I've played against it a lot, I can probably help.
I was playing Burn, IDK why I was losing so badly since I have so much footage of me beating Robots in the past (I'm glad these were friendly games or I would of been so much poorer).

38 QPS for this season. Dunno if I can make it to 50 ;/

50 is overkill.

I want 80 for finals + 3 prelims.

NFI what's going on with the POTY list, I have 97 QPs for the year.

Pedros has an interesting theory in why your name isn't appearing Z, app. new names don't get updated until new seasons starts (so we should see you on the 27th).

The alternative cause could be MTGO's crappy log-book, both me and Pedros are missing almost 20 points worth of QP....

Ill fire them a message, I'm just curious.

If it is because MTGO failed to record some of our points during the periods of instability, you reckon they'll update it properly later for us? I mean its quite easy to prove just take a screen shot of QP and add them @_@ (though they might say "Blah Blah you can't prove you earned all these QP through Constructive since some of it maybe from limited...").

I just lost game 1 of my modern DE in 5 minutes (it was against Soul Sisters), so these screenshot were well timed in keeping my morale up XD

Hang in there MDU :) I was very pleased with both but I really enjoyed the creativity of drewg :)

Gosh darn it!!

My first Modern DE drop since the banning:

Went 2-2:

G1: Soul Sister (0-2) was crushed in less then 5 minutes
G2: Red Burn (2-1) THE ONLY reason why I won was because his Goblin guide drew me 1-3 lands (I was flooded very badly).
G3: Pod (2-0) I still maintain my 100% win-rate vs Pod (had Double Boros Charm G1 it was fun.....)
G4: Ad Nauseam (0-2) I felt like a had a chance (until I saw what he reviewed, he had 3x Counter Pacts in his hand)

Trying to decide if its worth having cards to deal with Soul Sister, Ad Nauseam and Aura (well, nothing I can do about Soul Sisters but resolving Hide // Seek Just outright wins the Ad Nauseam and UW Tron MUs, it also helps vs Aura while a sweeper can finish them).

AWESOME screenshots =D -- people get so mad. No one would ever say this in real life to a person they are talking to. I don't know why to them its ok in mtgo, lol.

i had a guy yesterday tell me he got screwed by the shuffler and that it wasn't random because he flooded three games in a row. game 1 I kept a 2 lander with 2 cantrip effects on the draw and didn't draw another land till turn 5. I beat him game 2 (I admit he drew a lot of lands when we got into topdeck mode, but that was like turn 15...his deck failed to kill me), game 3 he drew 7 lands, as did I, he had a prog sphinx, a couple tricks, and a skyguard. not a terrible draw imo. I revealed 4 creatures off a wayfinder and that allowed me to play a turn 4 5/5. (this is quite good because he becomes a 10/10 soon, but it's hardly broken. there are many effects that would deal with or race this play and it's not uncommon). i eventually won with a time to feed (of which i had 2), and then he got pissed about his draws and his luck and the randomness of the shuffler. i explained what random means and he told me he's an
actuary so i don't need to tell him what random is. i eventually left the convo, he messages me, ranting about how kibler was right and we need to all stop playing modo and make wizards fix the client and I'm just like...no one is forcing you to be here dude

btw, i had an amazing sealed pool with bident, boon satyr, the heroic dude that makes your lands 2/2s, and the 8/8 hexproof blue rare in addition to 2 time to feed, all the good common 3/3s, 2 3/2s for 2 and a lot of other beef.

Anyone know why Falkenrath Aristocrat went up in price? I'm thinking of selling my play-set but what recent deck won which jacked up its price?

EDIT: Found it, it was Team Italia (I won't play that deck so I'll sell my set)

Ok cant fight the tide forever. Had really bad run today with 3-0 0-1 and 0-1, winning vs 2 UW control and burn, loosing vs burn and jund.

Vs burn game 2 and 3 didnt get 3rd land after I kept 2 lander bow cuorage all 2 drops TWICE.

Vs Jund he cast 3 devour flesh when I had 2 gods willing in hand and killed me faster with dragon as he gained exactly 1 life with courser so my wurm had 5 turn not 4.

Probably going to try this new golgari reanimator.

Ah, Falkenrath Aristocrat is seeing some Modern play? This warrants further investigation.

Ive been playing a ton of modern the last two days thanks to mdu, and am running red robots playing full sets of galvanic blast and shrapnel blast. Ive only been doing the tournament room until i learn the lines, sb play, and matchups. Ive done surprisingly well, winning 27 of 31 matchups so far. I have the most trouble with the u/r control decks, but still playing ok vs them. This is one of the most fun decks Ive ever played, and I flippin love the format. Thanks again to MDU for making it possible :).

Don't have enough time left to grind enough rupees for the MOCS. Was fun, but real life (and some poor play) got in the way.

I'm glad you liked it, would it be possible for you to grab the cards I'm missing for the BW control deck (if I'm not online passing it too lazerburn would work as
well)?

Searching for myself next standard mocs season.

UGw flash anyone? UG flash won ptq in Brazil, white gives you wurm, selesnya charm and ephara.

I recommend:

UW Control, UWB Control, B Devotion, BW Control, U Devotion or GRx Monster for the next grind season - if your comfortable in your luck and sequencing skills you could also try burn (but I think people will be more prepared for it now).

I'll be testing BW whenever I'm free (so you lot will have a head start on me this season) I just need Jonny to pass me the missing cards T__T.

Maybe just RG Monsters.

I saw versions with white (advent, chain. elspeth), black (all different removals, rakdos return, sire) and blue (kiora, ral zarek, counterspells (sth Sullivan described in scg)). Which do you think is best?
