Yeah, that's fair enough. Thing is, I don't really care about getting sick but I do care about dying. The chance that an ebola outbreak will occur within Canada is miniscule, but I guess I'm talking larger scale here too rather than just me personally (as in, mass vaccinations for ebola sounds like a good thing).

Not as much as Russia.

Can ebola even survive in canada? I mean people can barely live there.

Ebola shouldn't concern white people, specially people in Canada because its a disease who only kills black people in Africa :V

If my son had ebola I'd be in big trouble.

Anyway, I'm not saying you should be scared of ebola, I'm saying you should be more scared of ebola than of swine flu (unless you are elderly or otherwise in danger of dying due to a cough and fever).
Right. And im saying youre wrong.

Thats like saying you should be more worried about glanders disease than shingles, because glanders is fatal. No, thats called being a hypochondriac or chicken little. You are far more likely to,contract shingles, and that should concern you. I worried about swine flu, it seemed highly contagious. Lo and behold, i contracted H1n1. Did I die? Obv not. Was it the worst sickness I've ever had bar none? Absolutely.

If you think ebola is a bigger deal than H1N1 you are wrapped in the same stupidity as the others who are freaking out with you.
hes saying that if his son had ebola, he'd be in trouble because they make out all the time

I mean there are a near infinite number of things North Americans should be afraid of before Ebola.

As opposed to when it was worth it's peak value? It's not like it's going to go down unless they print more.

I'm writing a manual on how to use some proprietary software for new writers at my job and it contains the phrases "eldrich coding horrors" and "sentient mass of rubber bands and wires" so hopefully this guide is a fun and useful tool for future generations.

The guide is for the uncontested most boringest and tedious part of the job, so every opportunity to add humor and levity to a mind-wrenching task and common source of "staying at the office until the early hours of the next day" is hopefully appreciated.

Try to include the phrase: "malicious actions against websites"

I included the instruction "do not despair, because despair is the mind killer and our task has only just begun."

I bet our new hires would be more willing to read the work procedures if we wrote them like that. Hmm...

How to use a bandsaw
1) Don't cut your fingers off.
2) Put the piece in the hydraulic vise and close the vice.
3) Don't squish your fingers off.
4) Start the blade and lower it to begin cutting.
5) Don't cut your fingers off.
6) Sit in the chair for about half an hour, conversing with whoever happens to walk by.
7) When the cut is complete, take the piece out and do it all again. This will be your life for the next several days, so get comfortable and don't cut your fingers off.
