It is only out of sheer unfathomable laziness that I don't simply reinstall windows 7

nice guy, gave me his autograph after I told him I flat hate the people that watch his show and hope they die in a horrible car fire
Except not really in those words, but I did tell him I dislike the people who watched his show

Basically, if you're not using it on a touch-screen fully-stacked tablet, it's a worthless downgrade of 7. I particularly hate the slide-bar system, which is pretty blatantly geared toward those consumers who use their unimaginably intelligent thinking machine to look at pictures of lolcats and surf Facebook (not that i have anything against lolcats, mind you).

Vasquez is just one of the greatest people you could ever hope to meet. He's like the non-Goth equivalent of Neil Gaiman.

Most of it is likely on my end, when I first got it (prior to 8.1 update), I had really bad performance issues, like, running 3 tabs in chrome and spotify would cause a window to pop up telling me to close programs to conserve memory, this has largely gone away since the update (or I've changed what I have been doing).
That and the interface is clunky as shit imo

Then again, you'll have to forgive me, after my many moons away I'm finally back on the home compy running Kali and it's left a really bad taste in my mouth for anything Windows-based. I keep wanting to gush about how special of a feel it is to be able to real-time site analytics and shit while browsing, or what you could be doing with all that RAM Windows is happily feeding on.

"sext" is a word in the dictionary. i can forgive kaze's use of "derp" irl.
What I want to know is who decided that "selfie" is the official word of the year. #Idon'twanttoliveonthisplanetanymore.jpg
Seventeen thousand percent!!! That's like a one and a seven followed by not one, not two, but
three zeroes!
Can't argue with the numbers.

the office holiday party was hosted at local winery that had several different rooms to it. one of the people i work with but have never seen before kept walking up to the coworkers i was chatting with and telling us how we weren't really investigative journalists because we wouldn't walk around into the other party rooms with him (he was drunk) until very late in the night, i decided i'd join him so he would finally shut the fuck up and leave us alone. bear in mind that prior to this, the staff had already asked him not to wander into the other room and was aware that he was just sort of doing random shit at this point.
he walks into the adjacent room and walks up to a crowd of hipster looking 20 and 30 somethings from a different company with a similar alcohol and snack spread as us and attempts to cheers a bearded one about my age who recoils from his advance and pulls his drink away from him while he's just standing
there like the guy who holds his hand up for a high-five too long after no one is going to high-five him. after an uncomfortable pause, he keeps walking on as the bearded dude shouts back to him "enjoy your cheese" -- likely referencing the fact that he was stealing their snacks during an earlier time trial. we passed the woman who had told him earlier not to be such a putz (and who sounded exactly like emma stone), who made this disgusted face at this guy and seconds after we got back to our party room after i was coated in a thick layer of second-hand embarrassment playfully "but because you're paying us an assload to service your drunk ass" reminded him that we had the same food and drinks as they did and that he had to stop doing that.
mere minutes later, he broke a wine glass and tried to hide it behind a potted plant on the table my coworkers and i were sitting at.

i described sgt. kabukiman NYPD to my coworkers as the best racist film of the past 30 years that only had one rape scene.

i made a point to emphasize that there was only one rape scene and that there was plenty of room for other rapes to occur during the movie, but the director made an artistic decision to stop at the one.
