So what do you guys think of flamespeaker adept for block constructed? When we finally get the izzet scryland, it can combine with thassa, titan's strength, magma jet, voyages's end, and dissolve for synergy while also being good on their own merit, and all of a sudden aqueous form might actually have a job. I'm putting together a pet/casual deck for standard at the moment, since I currently only have theros to work with in block, but botg will probably let me take the training wheels off (unless we don't get the UR scry, and it looks like we won't). It's probably not a good deck, but I'm liking the synergy. I haven't tested it yet but here's my tentative list (mostly 4 ofs because I am not sure where to go with it):
[Deck]
Dudes
4 flamespeaker adept
4 omenspeaker
4 blistercoil weird
2 thassa, god of the sea
Enchantments
4 aqueous form
nSpells
4 dissolve
4 voyage's end
4 magma jet
4 spark jolt
4 titan's strength
Lands
4 steam vents
4 izzet guildgate
6 mountain
8 island
[/deck]

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.
You're like the least gay member of this clan.
And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

Looks spicy. Stymied hopes playable? It's certainly MUCH better in Limited then I anticipated.
Also, was there a talk about Cloud Atlas Recently? I just watched it and thought it was a pretty cool movie.

Yeah, we discussed Cloud Atlas about three dozen pages ago. Opinions seem to be evenly split between it either being awe inspiring or unwatchable garble. I'm in the awe inspiring camp. I walked out of the theater absolutely blown away by what I had just seen.Looks spicy. Stymied hopes playable? It's certainly MUCH better in Limited then I anticipated.

Pretty much what I did. Except I can feel the power of Facebook beginning to take hold....beware its power!I will make a facebook for no other reason than to comment on your article if the next one ends with "see ya, space cowboy".
EDIT: Excellent work, as usual.
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.
I rarely skip a Khaospawn wall of text because I know there is always piss at the end of the rainbow.

I don't know about the bunch of you, my friend...bloody night spooks you are! Chelle has been up teasing me (you can imagine) via text until just recently after waking middle o' the night. At least I have a good excuse for being up...I guess we're going to have start throwing parties that start 'round about midnight and carry on through the morning 'til we collapse.
Also, wtf am I doing awake right now?!?

Upon further consideration of the flamespeaker deck concept I am working will probably be better served as a casual deck for the time being. Augury owl could be a fun include, as could crystal ball. cryptic annelid seems to be a touch ridiculous, but in a fun way.

people like the self satisfied know it all persona? People I think like to brew, and woo gives them the smug "yeah man, this deck is so anti meta! It has like no bad match ups! What do you mean it would be better with bolt? No, boot is too mainstream, vapor snag is better anyways..." Woo gives them that shit.
(Also if you didn't kno he stole z's deck And passed it off as his, so we automatically hate him)

I read it. He's a bottom-feeder with a knack for over-hyping things. He speaks to the little Timmies of the world and feeds their dreams with lies.Anyone unfortunate enough to read Woo's Article on Delver for Modern? If so, is he always such a prick to his fanbase? how does he maintain such a following?

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out Travis Woo is really white and that he just stole someone else's skin and called it his own.Travis Woo is fucking obnoxious. So are nearly all his decks.Anyone unfortunate enough to read Woo's Article on Delver for Modern? If so, is he always such a prick to his fanbase? how does he maintain such a following?

Just let me know several weeks in advance, so I can prepare for it by getting copious amounts of extra sleep. I need to prepare for these things, dammit!I don't know about the bunch of you, my friend...bloody night spooks you are! Looking around fb, it seems like a lot of people had restless nights last night. I wonder what was going on.

This sleep thing is kinda messing with my head because I'm listening to "The Strain" by Guillermo del Toro. I'm in the progression of events in which the people of NYC are starting to realize that something is terribly wrong and are growing fearful of the night and of sleeping...shivers. Again in the truth stranger than fiction vein, I would not be surprised to find that we had some sort of low-level seismic event or the like last night.
