I opened an ok BG pool in the same PTQ but had no removal or gray merchants and after I lost game 1 I just conceded the match and dropped in order to have brunch with my gf's family

i sat in a session for 2 hours this morning where one doctor's presentation was a series of video clips and gifs of extreme sports events and him saying "that was a pretty good trick" for about 4/5 of his time, him talking about how extreme sports are comically unregulated for 1/10, and then literally saying the words "the rules about marijuana have changed a lot in the face of all these extreme sports athletes testing positive" and talking about how everyone who does these things smokes weed.

another presentation was about children boxing punctuated by a deafeningly loud fight bell sound, to which the researcher apologized and promised that would only happen two more times.

i've only done 10 minutes of actual work today because none of the researchers for any of the studies i was reporting on have showed up so far except for the one about bullying but today has definitely been a high point in an otherwise incredibly boring convention.

i gotta get on that smogon friend safari list and get those dittos and frogadier and whatever cespin evolves into
