My prediction for the rest of Dragon's Maze? KDW will not get any help.

I ain't scared. :flame:

KDW is already format warping. We haven't seen oppression like that since Cawblade.

I really hate dumbness. I don't care if I lose. But when your 3 Strangleroot, 2 rancor nut draw kills me when I mull to 5, don't talk to me about how that is a reasonable opening for you.

End tiny rant...

How are your evenings? Or mornings? or whenever you areings? :D

My MTGO pet peeve: when someone offensive GGs me. Then again, maybe I'm too used to playing Starcraft and I shouldn't take offense.

Well I will say Starcraft is one of the most mature gaming communities out there, and GGing the loser first is almost universally frowned upon there as bad manners, so...

See, that is immature. And I am speaking as someone who played WC3TFT as a semi-pro. These communities are not mature. Maybe compared to MTG, but not compared to reality :P You don't see that attitude in fighting, chess
or most professional sport ~ often the expectation is for the winner to approach the loser, which is the exact opposite.

Note that I said in gaming. I know these kids can be FAR from immature. :p

GG after opponent concedes is fine. Gg before opp concedes even if you both know he lost is dickish

You guys look into this shit way too much.

This is the reason why I literally don't say anything in any game I play. The chat function is useless 99.9% of the time other than to be a dick anyway.

Oh, and I got a new phone. Tis snazzy.

Fuck man when I see GG I mean it. Reading all into it seems like a girl thing to do. I don't do it to be a dick, I genuinely mean it.

I'm also running jund aggro. But probably only for another week or two if this check clears (which it should I'm just being cautious)

I like to talk to people, so I use the chat way too much. Of course, that's also why I effin hate playing online.

I was worried that extended periods of compliance with the Ham Challenge would make me a minute man. Nope! Met up with a little cutiepie from OKCupid, had her on top of me within 30 minutes of Game of Thrones (season 1 episode 1).

I say GG irl...cause I'm a chode. But honestly, I don't care. Very little bothers me in a game of magic that other people do. Also, now that I have a game store I play at, I've rediscovered my love for red cards. Beating people with the Rakdos event deck; so fun.

I'm slowly zeroing in on what I want to play during PTQ season. I've been playing junk rites at the store(cause that's what is being lent to me) but more and more, I'm realizing that the cumulative knowledge that I've gained regarding agro mirrors from this clan gives me a huge edge in games and I think I should just be attacking with Rakdos Cacklers or whatever. Jund Aggro, Dos Rakis, and all stromkirk noble decks are on my shortlist of what I want to play. And then there's always jund. I've dicked around with Prime Speaker bant because the internet tells me that California is agro heavy and PSB is good in that field but...the deck just doesn't jive with
me. We'll see in the coming weeks.

@Ham: No need to be humble. Bask in your own awesomeness. As tribute to redthirst of course.

I know I'm stupid, but why the Temple Gardens?

RedNihilist:

Temple Garden lets him get extra green into the list without affecting his ability to cast Boros Reckoner on curve.

Speaking of WC3: around 2003, here in Italy, a guy was actually granted a direct loss because of an aggressive GG.

The guy who was losing saved a screenshot of the opponent saying "GG" then paused the game and went to the judges asking for t3h win because the opponent actally surrendered ~ turned out that that tournament actually had a rule saying "if you say GG, you're surrendering".
Gotta love italian LANs.

And LP's right - much like gladiators fought to honor the gods, your sexual conquests are pleasing in mine eyes.

It is good.

So anyone else looking forward to the NBA playoffs starting tomorrow? I shouldn't since I'm a Bulls fan, 27th overall in PPG, and they're playing the Nets, 28th. But hey, should still be fun.

Okay, so does anyone ever feel like WotC is a bad, overzealous team of author who just beats us over the head with a club because they worry we might night read into their masterful plot?

BANT RULES! I GET IT ALREADY!!!!

Seriously...Armadillo Cloak (almost), Rancor and Invisible Stalker all in the same Standard? Obviously Volcanic Strength was just too OP...Christ in sheets. Oh well, looks like Glaring Spotlight might see some play, and GoST should hold value through another sector of the season...

Also, if you're playing GW/x Aggro or Midrange, that's the perfect beatdown card for the mirror.

I think we'll be seeing it a good bit... which is not great news for R/x Aggro.

For the Rakdos, "suicidal charge" and "showmanship" are the same thing.

And the Bant answer?

I'm so very glad that Dos Rakis has access to sacrifice effects.
