I've only cast it twice. this deck is actually pretty terrible on paper. it's like...10 two drops and some unblockable enchantments/tricks. w/e works I guess

also, 3 of those match wins were in cube with my friends today where I drafted the cube equivalent of sneak and show with 2 eldrazi, goyos vengeance, through the breach, and show and tell. it was fucking awesome

Gah, I should have looked that up before I started getting hyped about spamming THS only sealed event (they don't exist ) I guess I just have to hobbo it out for another 2-3 months (the 3rd set can't come any sooner).

Timered out another mono blue opponent for the match win. We both had huge board presences but I wouldn't have needed to topdeck into my second mortar to really take it over so I was glad to take the free win.



So, 6 QP now. I see the primier event didn't fire. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Install the normal client then just right-click your name and look at profile (Beta removed the ability to view Ratings, perhaps to prevent people from losing morale).

Figures. Where do you even go to install the normal client? Hasn't been highly relevant but doesn't look like beta has chat macros either. Or I'm supposed to create them, not sure.

Forgot to mention Hidden Strings. It triggers both heroic AND inspiration AND can be done twice one turn (so 4 triggers... scary), plus can be eaten by Niv Magus elemental (as every other heroic enabled card, I suppose he is also playing elemental).

So I had a play in an 8 man today that might have been the most fun I've had playing a game of magic. I'm down to 2, with blinkmoth nexus, an open mountain, and springleaf drum. In my GY there is ray of revelation. The opponent has a gladecover suited up with rancor and a coronet. He swings in and says "GG". I respond by activating nexus, blocking, tapping him with springleaf drum for green, cast ray on rancor, coronet falls off, and the nexus/gladecover trade. He puts "..." in trade. I grind out a few more turns and win the game. He ends with "you're so lucky, I should've won". #dontsayggtooearly

That UB sounds very similar to the deck I came up with when BNG was spoiled. It even had springleaf drum and mizzum skin. I just didn't have hidden strings or the 1/1 blue guy and I had retraction helix and marauder instead...fuck me, I should have broken the format months ago (I played like 4 matches, went 1-3 or something and gave up on the idea)

Oh yea, I didn't have the necromancer either..just realized I built mine for block. That explains why I had none of these standard cards

well I'm 3-0 with the WG version so I guess that was the right choice. I can't believe how slow everyone is building their sealed pools. traveling philosopher is like a bomb

I've always liked consistency over power in sealed.

I won round 1 game 3 on a mull to 5 because I had a 2 drop and a 3 drop

I've had 3 games where my opponents didn't play a creature till turn 5
