and why was your reaction "I didn't ask you anything," rather than listening to your fellow townie when they say you misrep'd and then looking back at your post and the post in question to see where you might have gone wrong? your reaction doesn't feel like very good team-work. it feels like an attempt to bully Jack using a rephrased statement as proof.

somehow missed this post. Went back to check the context and I don't like it. Mostly the tone.

because I can't remember the name of the fallacy but I'm sure it exists: say you have someone protesting things happening in North Korea by eating live scorpions or something and he gets stung or bit or whatever scorpions do, and someone calls him a dumbass. the person calling him a dumbass isn't supporting North Korea by doing so. weird analogy, but you get the idea.

I did a re-read of the game with CM in mind but can't find anything to tell me that he's scum. Mostly he just looks like a dick, but that's indicative of nothing at all.

I'm getting bad vibes from LMD for excessive lurking. Last page, both Wraith and Pie suggested that he's on their watch list, and I'm suspicious, too. I equate lurking with scum, as I've mentioned before.

There are others that I'm wary of, too, but I'm going to take the Manders approach and see what they do today before calling them out.

Pie: your analogy does not fit. You say Rez is bad town, but you share reads on me. That means that the two of you (assuming both are town) have gone through a thought process and come to the same conclusion.

Regardless of whether you were referring to rez's position on jack (you said it was referring to the ham wagon but whatever) the idea that Rez is "bad town" does not mesh with the rest of your analysis (made within the same few posts). Are you bad town for your read on me? Is Rez good town for his read on me? Why would you make a blanket statement and then contradict it only a few posts later?

What do you want me to respond to? Is it about your alteration of my statement to remove a double negative, and the resulting discussion?

If so, that does change the meaning of my statement. By using a double negative, I expressed that my scum read on him was very weak, and pretty much just suspicion. I said "he could be scum." You said that I said "he's probably not anything other than scum."

Iamopen2 is strong town with his good reads on Rez. Where the hell is Catain Murphy? Is he waiting to see if attacks on Rez clear or follow through? He bussed Iamopen2 last game.

So far Rez, CM, and LMD are my scum in that order of strongest reads.
