trying to explain IVs to the guy from the previous discussion was harrowing. the basic concept of "each pokemon's stats are randomly decided but you can later manipulate them by breeding, and each one varies by 0 to 31 points" did not click but i blame this in part because he did not understand what i meant by stat.
