Hi.
Something bugs me a little bit. When looking at knight cards, especially the really powerful ones, a really high percentage of these are girls/women (Knight of the Reliquary, Student of Warfare, Knight Exemplar etc...). Now, I have nothing against women, really, but I still don't know if I like this. It doesn't seem very realistic. In the middle ages, I don't think there was such a thing as girl knights really. Of course you might argue that neither were there dragons and magic spells, and that's true. However, I find those things easier to accept as they don't have a base in reality anyway. But taking something real such as knights and portraying them in an unrealistic way kind of bothers me. Just look at Knight of Bladehold, she hardly has any clothes! Really, what knight would ride around like that? Even in a magic world...
So why do you think so
many good knights are girls? I have a few theories:
1) A large portion of magic players are male and find girl knights attractive, so it makes them buy more cards. However, this should then reflect on the whole of magic being dominated by women and I think the knights are particularly female-dominated so the theory doesn't seem to hold up too well.
2) Portraying strong females is seen as a positive thing in society because it appears to promote equality between the genders and thus printing strong girl knights makes people happy, supportive, and more likely to buy more cards. This seems reasonable.
3) It just happened to be this way. Some random factor decides card genders.

Because if we let people get away with confirmation bias, it's a slippery slope to internet genocide and anarchy.

If you feel that no one's responding to your report, you may bring it up with a Global moderator or Administrator. Do note that for the majority of the staff, it's the middle of the night right now, and we like to discuss any matter amongst ourselves before any kind of action is taken.
So with a report (of any kind), if it takes more than a day for something to be resolved, I would say that's a good time to approach a Global or Admin, just to give local mods (or senior staff) time to get online and handle/discuss it.
"...except for DTR members...we're in such a hurry to bring the hammer down on those guys that we actually add them to the Currently Suspended/Banned User Thread before even issuing the infraction."

Zombie_master is upset that he has to stare at half naked female knights in a fantasy card game.
