Everyone knows limited is the only format that takes real skill but unfortunately wizards doesn't want to ever do a limited GP in MN
The overall impression I got from people after the recent gp in houston (the first one in years was) this "It was great that we got a gp, and we hope to get another, just so long as it isn't limited"
(Mind this is a sample size of roughly 5 people.)
Prolly not missing out on much

The only good thing about Legacy is that the games are over by turn 3 so they don't take up too much of my life whenever I accidentally watch one.

Well I've played approx 50 theros sealed events and 200+ drafts so I'd much prefer to play that than modern, a format I've never played and find boring

rather curious, for those of you who play standard, if you were to up and go to a standard ptq tomorrow, and you had access to every card in the format, what would you play?

Lived in Gary, Indiana for a while.
That's where I picked up my fondness of Brisk, as well as habitual zig-zag running whenever I hear a loud rapport.

Btw redthirst or whichever tard with admin privileges it is, the word filter isnt a tool to be used to spellcheck your common spelling errors. Learn to spell, proofread, or just have posts with misspelled words.

On a side note, would a standard gauntlet of
1. UW Control
2. Mono Black Devotion
3. G/R Devotion
4. Various R/x devotion decks
be a decent start to a standard gauntlet?

Esper is as popular or more popular than UW, also Mono blue Devotion
