My LGS is just retarded and they make most events not worth going to.

I remember I used to like going to PRs. Then decided going out to eat with friends was more fun.
Posted: Thu Sep 19, 2013 8:59 pm
by Kaitscralt
It's not about fun. Too much neckbeard reek for fun at a PR. It's about outplaying a bunch of people then making off into the night with your spoils.

prerelease is about building an 0-1, drop deck and going home with a significant fraction of a box of boosters in spite of that
Posted: Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:03 pm
by DroppinSuga
over/under, you are actually just awful.
This is exactly the issue.

it is understandable why you would not want to play in prerelease if that is the case.

waiting 5 hours to slog through a sweaty balmy room for 0 packs in prize and talking to the people who know that door of destinies was a mistake to print with slivers legal what was wizards thinking is not an ideal way to spend your day/evening/waking hours.

The last two times I tried to go to the prerelease my store was out of product and there were so many fat and smelly people that you couldn't physically move around the store and you didn't want to either. I went to the RtR one and 4-0'd with a pack rat, desecration demon, double carnival hellsteed rakdos pool that made me feel bad for my opponents

Being in the same room for 5 hours with anyone who goes to my LGS for any amount of packs is asking a lot. If it was just lots of cash, then yes.

packs and their contents can be exchanged for cash and other cards, which can also be exchanged for cash.

I'll just go with Cole and say I suck at Magic. I don't even know why I waste my money.

nothing dims the pain like a room full of fat sweaty guys in black t shirts. you might even be able to part the sea of neckbeards and find an obese girl who ISN'T there because of her boyfriend. that could be your next wife.
