There's definitely room to grow. I stream on Saturday, so I'm going head to head with official Wizards broadcasts of GPs and SCG Opens. I still hit 40+ viewers and get new followers every time. I would probably be more popular if I did it more than once a week and was better at the game

Approximately how much per month do you make with 40ish viewers 4 times a month? Is it more than $20?

I make zero dollars, I'm not a twitch partner. I don't think anyone would subscribe to watch me battle my rogue brews once a week

If I worked from home (my end goal) and could do a stream every day without biting into production, I'd look at it more seriously.

I don't think you should do it for the Money (it may ruin the magic experience for you) I get roughly 15-20 dollars per month but I make less then 1k views.
Sites like CFB make 1k+ views with each video (they segment the matches into all 3 rounds), that said I'm happy to earn some extra chump change playing and filming one event per day anyways - I'm in the inf. though so I don't lose anything for it, if your filming limited I can see why you'll want an return.

i just want to figure out if it's worth the effort to set up a stream and commentate my drafts/matches. if i'm only getting $10-$15 a month from it idk if i can justify the extra work...

When you film your own game (after first few...
for me the first few games on film were horrible since I couldn't focus properly) I think you'll find filming makes you a better player.
Setting up stream is also only annoying the first time (I think? because I have no idea how to do it - but if you want to stream on YouTube I can help with that)

MDU:
Is there anything intricate about getting set up on YouTube? Twitch has a YouTube exporter, and free ad revenue seems fine.

App. it helps attract large crowds (not many people do live magic streams on youtube) and since its MANY times easier to become a youtube partner then a twitch partner it also help in earning money.
Youtube also provides the recording program so that's nice as well......

I'd like to stream, but so often my baby will need attention randomly for several minutes and such. Even after shes asleep. If I recorded I could edit I suppose, but I don't really want to spend any money on a decent software. Thoughts?

OBS is free, quit being a pussy. Put your baby on camera, it will attract more viewers.

Depending on the file format OBS uses, windows has a movie editor built in. It's effective for chopping up a video.

OBS? Also I do believe Zoe would attract more viewers than myself -- however she sits still for a grand total of 30 second intervals. LOL.

Ok -- maybe I'll try it out for my next 8 man or w/e. Just DL OBS and use it through twitch?

Pretty much. Twitch has an excellent help page on how to set OBS up to work properly with Twitch.

I usually don't play drown in sorrow, but if it's going to be decent in any deck I think it's this one. Only 4 of my 15 creatures die to it, and one of those is a bestow.

it's definitely above average. I'm a little concerned by my lack of 2 drops tho

Not a fan of Cavern Lampad or Drown though. I like Divination over it, or Weight.

I don't like to go under 15 creatures and I already have 1 divination. the weight has always been poor for me but I sided it in round 1 cause I saw 3 2/2s game 1. my opponent was playing GBW meh and barely put up a fight.

divination or weight might have been correct over the drown tho...I admittedly don't play divination that much
