i hope that one member of this site has been referred to unironically as a rapist somewhere on mtgs in relation to forum posting and not to any actual rapes someone has been accused of.
Oh weird, I'm surprised that you don't know this already happened multiple times. Didn't feel like firing up Baby?

By the way, Boxxy, I think you should know that every time I read a post of yours like that my estimation of you goes up greatly. You have a way of mixing pure intent and equal parts derision into such posts that belies a very keen intellect. I salute you, sir.
are you misusing "belies"? Or just insulting me in an intricate way?
Dude just take the compliment.

I just met with a 300 pound offender who walked a long amount of distance to get here to turn in a copy of paper that the pd faxed over when he left their office

He was literally dying from the heat, all for nothing

there was probably a children's park along the way and he needed an excuse to walk by and stare

many people do use "belies" to mean something close to "emphasize / underscore" when it really does mean to be disingenuous

it derives from the name of the demon Belial in Hebrew texts

Belial had once been a protege of Mephisto, honing his powers of deception under the Lord of Hatred's guidance. Eventually, he would turn on his mentor and manipulated Azmodan into leading a revolt against the Prime Evils, though this may have likely been indirectly encouraged by Mephisto himself. With the armies of Azmodan and Belial unified, the Prime Evils were cast out of Hell, though at the expense of a full third of Hell's demons. Azmodan and Belial were left to vie for power over the Burning Hells, a conflict Belial ultimately lost. Years later, much like the Prime Evils, Belial would turn his attention to Sanctuary and corrupting its populace. His influence over the mortal realm mirrors Mephisto's own of
twenty years prior, as his power over Caldeum, capital of Kehjistan, becomes absolute.

It's not correct to use it like that but it's becoming more commonplace. Since "belies" is generally used in phrases like "belies his true nature" people come to think it means "accentuates" instead of "hides".

My garage is almost completely set up for lamp working. I just have to buy a bunch of wire and actually go in my attic, which I'll probably just bribe a friend to do anyway. I fucked up my back a little bit unloading the O2 but it was worth it
