also, akroan skyguard, gods willing, and 2 drops are good. the black is quite good too, but the curve isn't the best and although whip is a great card, it isn't that great in this pool. my creatures just aren't that big

idk, I could have gone either way. I destroyed my round 1 opp with EoCB and then flooded both games in round 2

I think you have to play UB there

your UW pool doesn't support the bomby white cards enough except for 2 gods willing

I'm not sure that UB pool loses a match

Ham can you think of a good splinter twin hoser in Red , Green or White? I am sick of loosing to twin (upkeep tap your mana guy). Maybe it is just that I got perfect drawed 10 times (turn 1 bolt my mana dork, turn 2 remand my 2nd dork, turn 3 tap mana, turn 4 twin)

I will send you a decklist tommorow, however it is basicly green based nykthos and big mana
primal command deck. It started as genesis wave however command is strictly better as a cheaper option. If u have any ideas just send me msg.

To all of you that played a lot with lotus cobra - how much lands and fetches you need to make lotus cobra good? I want my deck to have as consistent as possible 5-6 mana at turn 3 to cast command and titan' and cobra allows it quote easily with fetches.

Black so hard it's not even funny. Unless I'm missing something, there's nothing compelling about the white while black has literally everything you want; removal, pseudo bombs, CA.

Finally got a QP for this season.

I started with some 8-P's and went 1-1 for FIVE in a row. (Nothing like being exactly average.) At least it (almost) breaks even.

I jumped on a DE tonight, lost my first round to stupid Junk Reanimator (the last game I was stuck on 3 lands, all red, for the entire game, with two WLH and a Charm in hand, and still got him down to 7). But then I won the last 3 matches of the DE, all in 2 games each. (Felt sorry for the last guy, playing Bx Devo. He mulls to 5, and then plays: Thoughtseize, Duress, Duress, Thoughtseize. He had no hand left . . . lol)

I'm going to have to up my game if I'm going to get 35 this month.

Lost in the finals for GPT Atlanta, got 8 land and never drew my 2nd color in game 3. Would've loved the 2 byes, but oh well! Drafted a sweet G/B deck with pharika, courser, and eater of hope.

2-2 my daily event after winning the first two. Had a really difficult time against UW control although I think I played badly game 2.

Last match was mono blue which I was doing quite well until I land flooded.

Game 3, he had only 1 island but he had Nykthos keep casting him spells as I never could sweep his board or see my sideboard cards.

Through truth is I misplayed one turn where I should have alpha striked but I played around a cyclonic rift on my chains that he didn't have (he cast 2 game 1 back to back to win that one). Oh well, that's why I record.

My limited rating is almost back to 1800 and I haven't had to buy product in nearly 2 weeks I'm actually sad that JiN is coming out because I'm finally getting really good at THS THS BNG

I didn't get to play today cause of the downtime I prob won't play actually until sunday cause of GP Minneapolis (assuming I don't day 2)

Yeah, decided to do a 9-4 despite the bad value. Drafted practically mono white and went 3-0. 2nd round opponent Monstrous'd an Arbor Colossus all 3 games, scary.
No good pulls but I am pleased.

I played in the Shadowmoor events. A lot of people were no-shows (25%?)
The first round somehow took nearly 2 hours but after that it went Ok.

Why did they have a 2-Hour delay was it a crash or because it was a non-show issue?

Also it seem like they're forcing Beta on us once it hits July.... not sure if I should try and get use to beta now or just stick with V3 and enjoy it while it last....

Random question about OBS. I couldn't get my in game cursor to display this time. I probably had to mess with settings due to something else and forgot what I did. I can give more info when I'm home on what the settings are currently although I think it's in Window mode. Oddly, I have to choose my browser to show instead of MTGO for it to show up

What's the event? You're more likely to win with Twin, maybe buying the other half will get you higher EV.

It's GP Minneapolis

In a big tourney like a GP, the top tables will have dedicated hate for Affinity (Stony Silence says you're screwed), whereas Twin doesn't just fall over and die if it sees a Torpor Orb. Playing Island means never having to say you're sorry.

What about burn? It has been doing well online. I'm just struggling to justify spending that much more for a probable scrub out when a tier 1/2 deck is free...

I'd play Twin. No doubt about it. Affinity is too much of a risk with all the dedicated hate towards it and Burn is not something I'd be willing to hedge my bets on for a good showing.

Burn is powerful, but suffers from a lack of scale relative to your play skill. Even if you're amazing, you lose if you don't draw your burn quickly enough.

I've done very well with affinity despite not being great at the format yet. I've dedicated my s/b instead of hate to cards that protect from hate -- IE spell pierce, thoughtseize, and apostle's blessing (BLOWOUTVILLE). But if you don't draw any and they do you're just dead, lol.

Plus you're more handsome than the typical Robots player.

That's the X factor people don't realize I bring to the table. I'm doing a Sealed PTQ this Sunday. Hopefully I pull some sweet stuffz. If I fail terribly I have the chance to do well in Atlanta 2 weeks after. Sealed Errday!

Now that the new cards are available on MODO, I might start streaming again. This is assuming that I can make my deck not suck.

I managed to pull twin together but I only got to play about 10 games with it so this is most likely going to be a short-lived GP
