I really like talking about music with people as long as they can discuss it rationally so I'm willing to check out most recommendations on this site.
I mean the last 3 songs I bought off itunes were:
1. Arcade Fire - Oh Orpheus
2. The Wolfe Tones' Derek Warfield - The Wearing of the Grey
3. The Andrews Sisters - Civilization
or
1. Alt rock
2. Civil war era
3. 1940's swing music

This is actually very entertaining.
Get out of my head. LEAVE MY BRAIN ALONE.
I crawled into Madding's head, I can get in yours as well.

Also, sorta revealing how much I actually love Van Canto here, but their version of Battery by Metallica s kinda intense.

Also judt gonna link Iron Maiden's Rime of The Ancient Mariner cause I mentioned it earlier. Also cause romantic poetry, metal, and badassery. And cause 14 minute songs are cool right?

Quality kinda sucks. It was either that video or one with an annoying, unskippable advertisement.

One band is all insanely talented cellists, and a great drummer.
Check out this drummer for Battles. The guy is a human metronome. Start it at 1:45.

So much good music flowing right now.
This needs to happen more often.

Better than Metallica. Also +∞ for making guitar sounds with their mouths.

I don't.
Which cover?
Also, this is why I don't tend to take part in music swap, cause I get too tempted to share ALL OF THE THINGS

actually this music swap is more useful than anything else that's ever happened in this thread tbh.

The aforementioned Battery cover made me smile.
Listening to Battles. Just realized there's only three people. Huh.

so many good bands suffered when their female backup singer left (The Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins).

Well, since y'all seem to be enjoying Van Canto, I'll keep it flowing.
How about taking Van Canto and dropping in Sabaton's lead singer for cover of Sabaton's Primo Victoria?

Protest the Hero? I've never been a huge fan, but they don't make me feel terrible.

I like Jazz! I like most moosiks, lol.
I actually like this a good bit. It's a bit of genre shock, but meh

I've never been a fan of jazz. It has themes I can occasionally relate to but the slower pacing of the songs and lack of bombastic moments keeps me from truly getting into it.

The singer needs to be replaced with Peter Frampton.

My top songs are all basically the singers howling with reckless abandon and their unbridled passion speaks to me.

by Second Harkius
The idea of a group of people on top of a mountain banging on drums and howling their heads off in a wild bacchanal is appealing.

I'm really picky about singers. That's what turns me off of a lot of bands.

Aww, did the van canto sabaton baby get overlooked? And here I thought I was gaining converts for VC
Lesse', what other weird metal do I have... Well, there's the Finnish Monster guys... Called Lordi, dress up in huge monster costumes and play metal.
