Insults are only effective if the recipient has the mental capacity to recognize it.

Alex, you're a fucking turd.
The real question is how long will it take for you to break down and thank every post he makes just so that he HAS to notice you?

The pot needs stirring!

To all my friends dealing with massive amounts of snow, you have my condolences, but I'm gonna bitch about simple rain right now.

Rain is bullshit. I hate being wet. Fuck.

Also pretty sure women are illiterate. There's a sign on the womens restroom that says turn the key left.

Women trying to use it ALWAYS take forever fiddling with the door trying to open the damn bathroom. Saw a women read the sign once, opened the door instantly.

That's a weird calzone combination.
It's just cheese with cut up pieces of broccoli, like pizza with broccoli.

it's theros sealed and you have a hand with 1 forest, 1 sylvan caryatid and 5 nonland cards of creatures and removal

how often do you keep the hand

1) never, you're a pro and mulligan one-landers

2) depends specifically on the other cards in hand

3) always

survey says

3) always

Women are such teases. That's why I switched to men.

I know what a calzone is Kait; I was commenting on the only broccoli filling - that's unusual - did you make it yourself?

If you're playing 17 land it's a fine keep.

Thero's sealed? Probably never. Hitting land drops seems too important for bestow/monstrous purposes.

Also, play/draw, and number of lands/accelreants in deck is relevant. Like if my deck is 18 lands plus a voyaging satyr and a travelers amulet, I'm more inclined to keep for instance.

To be honest I'm not keen on even keeping a two land hand in THS sealed unless I'm running a low curve aggro deck.

I live in Minnesota, there's snow halfway up my windows right now so I have to stand like a moron on my tiptoes to see if it's snowing more (hint: it always is), but rain always suck worse. If you're cold, you can always add more layers; if you're wet, your only choice is to strip naked and sit around waiting to dry.

I kept a hand of 5 lands, two heroic enablers figuring that I'd at least have all the mana I needed in the colors I needed. I then proceeded to draw 5 lands. Didn't see a creature until turn 7.

by zemanjaski
That's very loose; you need so many consecutive good draws to have a chance :(

Generic mulligans survey question: do you prefer keeping a land heavy hand or a land light hand? Think 1 land or 5 land, assuming you have at least one play on turn 1.

I definitely have my preference, curious what others say.

I crushed the guy the next two games after shuffling the deck about a million times. Kragma Butcher and Minotaur Skullcleaver made for a fairly devastating one-two punch of 6 damage followed by 6 damage.

I'd rather have a land-heavy hand than a land-light hand.

Depends on too many things for an answer to have any real meaning but I lean towards land heavy.

doesn't matter, i always get there

In Sealed? Definitely land-heavy. Draft and constructed? Depends on my deck. If I'm playing a deck like UB Drownyard from the end of last season I definitely prefer land heavy.

I wonder about the right way to go, because I keep a lot of 1 and 2 land hands.

I rationalize that I have a better percentage chance to draw land on any particular turn, and seeing the spells in my hand let me set up lines with better advance information, instead of having land on play with no idea what spells I'll get off the top.

For me, the experience of being flooded is much more tilting than being screwed.

Mulligans are probably my strongest Magic skill so I tend to know what's playable and what isn't. That's not saying much though. :D
