Of all the one shot planeswalkers why does Nissa get figures? Don't get me wrong, I love Nissa, my best elf gal pal, but why not Gidion, Karn, Venser, Bolas, Sorin, or Tezzeret? All of these walkers have been on multiple cards (though venser, karn, and bolas were on creatures originally). Okay I see why not Bolas, He's a big ass dragon.

The only answer that makes sense would be if she were coming back either in the next core set or block, or is actually in journey into nyx which is the worst option since theros has no elves for her to lead, meaning she would be just a generic green walker (or green/black which was hinted at in the planeswalker bios).

Now whether or not we are getting more zendikar in the near future is not so clear, we've not had two blocks from the same plane for as long as there have been walkers, so there is no clear precedent to judge from. My guess is not zendikar, but I don't have even the most minimal information for that guess (where as I have a very small fragment to base the rest of the hypothesis on).

There is also the chance that they are choosing her for popularity reasons given how much some people love elves (even I, a flaming red mage, who hates elves in D&D and most games in which they are a playable race/faction, have enjoyed a tree hugger fueled tribal decks, because magic does not have enough dwarves (and the dwarves it has have so little synergy, unless you REALLY HATE non-basic land)). Or they are including it as a red herring hoping to make me make an ass of myself. (I don't need pot, I'm paranoid enough sober).

I could see her making another appearance in a future set.

Lets hope she shows up again, my ezuri commander deck needs another walker, it's currently just nissa and garruk (the original). They make a cute couple though.
