For my Modern Burn and Storm decks, along with my Legacy Burn, I use Pro Fits inside KMC Pearl Whites. For everything else, it's just KMC Pearl Whites. Like, literally every deck I own (and that's a lot).
I should get an endorsement from KMC if I ever become famous. I've used them religiously for about 4 or 5 years now. Only recently have I started using those Pro-Fits as undersleeves, but that's because I nearly ruined some dude's Modern UWR deck when I spilled my beer on the table like a dumbass. Fortunately, I only had to replace some Lightning Helices and a pair of Electrolyze. When he bought new sleeves after that, he also picked up Pro-Fits and explained what they were to me.
Words of wisdom for those that want to try undersleeves: it's very time consuming to outfit your deck. Also, I recommend putting them on a deck that changes very little, such as an Eternal format deck like Legacy, so that you don't waste
your precious time constantly resleeving instead of playing.

Also, the size of your deck is gonna double....giggity. So keep that in mind when you have to shuffle and even store your deck since some boxes are only so big. Double giggity.

I double sleeve using the perfect fits and Dragon Shields. Whenever I match up with a different/new player doesn't know me, they're highly likely to ask if I'm running more than 60 cards. I usually like to joke, "oh shit this isn't an EDH tourney?"

I tease my friend that double sleeves all the time with "Son this isn't the EDH table!"
Someone just bought my 40k army. Bittersweet because I have them nostalgic feels but can put that money toward fetches.

I just got a hold of a foil Japanese jace beleren so my commander deck is probably going to end up double sleeved, and definitely will if I start investing in the man base. I wish I hadn't sold off my badlands and 1 volcanic island.

I probably need to do the same. I have 1500 pts of IG, 2500 pts of BA, and 3000 pts of SoB. The paint jobs very from bad to okay, but I really don't feel any real connection to my BA or IG armies (will be buried with my battle sisters though).

I miss my Eldar figs, and I love painting and playing Tyranids, but WH40K's too fucking expensive to get into again.

It's also just gone to the dogs competitively. It's a damn shame; 10 years ago it was fantastic. Ill always have a soft spot for it; it's the game I first experienced real competitive success with.

Warhammer is great if you want to paint some awesome miniatures. If you actually want to play a game, play Warmachine.

Ok, reworked my Tajic deck.
Is it bad to have a mana curve of 3.75 when literally half of the deck produces mana?
Posted: Fri Feb 28, 2014 3:55 am
by Valdarith
You're playing EDH. 3.75 average cmc is fine.

I fucking hate EDH.

Does anyone in the clan use under-sleeves for their decks? (Mostly looking at you Legacy and EDH players.) I'm interested in suggestions for what brand to look for. I went out on a limb and got some foreign KMCs that are not even remotely the right size.
I use KMC perfect fits for the inner, KMC Hyper mats for the outer. Necesary here to keep moisture from curling foils.

From my experience, you really don't need to double sleeve in order to keep your foils straight, you just need to play with your cards often.

Attack on titan is a good show. Holy balls.
You must be somewhere in the first 10 episodes. It slows down, gets kinda boring, but then goes super freaky later.

And then it crashes terribly with a fucking cliffhanger.
I'll take Kill la Kill over it all day.

I generally store my foils in a pile face to face, back to back, with something heavy on top. I rarely play any of them, and often get non-foils if I'm going to use them.

my legacy tinfins deck is double sleeved and a few of the nicer standard cards (chandras, foundrys, temples). I recommend it if you would want to sell them later

I enjoyed the first season of Attack on Titan.
Re: foils.
I like foils a lot, especially for EDH. In Japan the humidity is so high that the foils curl if you don't double sleeve. I had no issues in Canada, but it's a different story here. Comes with living on an island.

I have
Tajic,
Daksteel Myr, and a
Goblin Assault in play.
Me: "Tap seven, cast
Jokulhaups."
Green player: "Damnit!"
Green blue player who tapped out: "Sonofabitch!"
Mono blue player: "Pact that shit."
Other two: "Phew!"
Next turn comes around.
Me: "Play mountain, tap eight, cast
Obliterate."
Whole table: "Fuck Damnit!"

Is domri rade seeing play outside of standard? Because I'd like to use him in a casual, but I really need the price to go down.

I'm playing red/white. I have to play to my strengths.
Alternatively, is THAT GUY any better than THE OTHER GUY who genesis waves for 31 on turn 5?

He sees some play in Zoo, but not enough to maintain his current price tag. Expect him to dip to around $10 after rotation.

I'm 13 episodes into Attack on Titan and I'll say it's not bad. There's some stuff that doesn't make sense to me about the Titans (why doesn't blowing their head off kill them but slicing the back of their neck does? how do they function without eating?) but I have some theories about them (as opposed to being anime bullshit)

So that Jund Aggro list I've been working on ended up going 5-0 all going 2-0 at a Thursday event. I definitely need some input and other hands on this deck because I think it's something to look into and expert input.
My favorite round of the night: I Golgari Charmed on turn four 1 Boros Elite, 2 Judge's Familiar (paid two mana to cancel counter), 1 Soldier of the Pantheon, and a Spirit of the Labyrinth. Second game I came back from 2 life with my opponent at 26 with Stormbreath.
