Single Elimination scares me a lot more than Swiss...

The prize support for swiss just wins you your packs back, 4-3-2-2 gives you two packs for winning a round which is a nice consolation prize, 8-4 gives the best value

It is why after getting their bearings most people move out of the swiss

15 qps in order to qualify for a prelim (that doesn't exist), if you do well enough in the prelim, you qualify to play in the end of season 2 week period) MOCS event (that also doesn't exist), OR 35 qps will qualify you directly for the MOCS event (that still doesn't exist). Sometimes, like they did with these recent appreciation events, wotc will try to reward those who were grinding hard all season and try to satiate them until they can figure out how to run a magic cards tournament on the computer.

You can really only hold them until you run out of tickets so if you're trying to build a bankroll like me, it's difficult to hold them when they might rise in price.

Pedros is our local MTGO economic master: past treads would suggest that ALL cards will go up in price after rotations.

Rotations is a VERY long way away, in this short term period I except THS to increase in value esp. after M15 arrives (fingers crossed on 3.3+) - JOU and BnG to hit at least 2.5-3 (though this is unlikely for JOU).

That said I agree with Elricity, as a new player you don't have the cash flow to save so you'll need to sell everything to stay above - alternatively you can have an 80%+ win ratio and stay above red by selling either just THS or just (JOU + BNG).

Basicly it works like that: If you dont need cash/tixes now, dont sell boosters. Past trends tells us that boosters will cost more in fall, however there is this weird V4 Transitions, which may affect prices.

After losing Three 2-Mans and One DE with Legacy (-18 tickets) I decided too vent in standard.

It went really well, however does anyone else notice that its much harder/less obvious too communicate with other people in v4 (beta)? I couldn't get anyone too respond let along split (had too beat them instead)

I also experience this really annoying trade binder bug where I spend the better half of an hour setting up only too have NOTHING in my binder after I re-log...

Yeah, the chat/game log is really not easily visible. Although, I guess you can try cramming it on the right hand side like it works before.
