Actually I'm the custodian but the story is filled with walls of text about forum politics and fuck the police posts. Like it would take you longer to sift through all of the history than to read the homestuck comic from start to finish.

Maybe I'll post some of the more relevant gutter-related posts like once per month and then people can sit like old fogey's reminiscing "oh yeah, I remember when that post made rianalnn so buttmad"

Well, other than kijin, I think I'm the only other gutter poster left from its earliest days on mtgs. He is much better at telling the history than me but is probably apathetic. The early days involved a room with a moose, a lot of early Internet memes (before Internet memes were a term), gutter survivors where we voted people out of the gutter for being bad posters, and a surprisingly large moderator presence. I remember wolfwood, butteblues, goblinboy, xzybit, and senori as some of the frequent staff participants.

I got banned sometime in that first year after my friend and some other bad posters, plus good posters who voted checkbox, caused me to win a survivor. I made a gimmick, protourlakenichigan, and began posting on and off for the next 7 years. Mostly in 2009 and 2012.

Yea, when I came back last year it was basically right at the start of all the drama and I tried to get involved from my 2009 perspective but was ignorant to everything that had happened in the previous three years and got told off by kijin for wanting to return to the days of cavemen and loincloths. I pretty much shut up about the drama after that
