What the fuck is with people on DTR and RVS. We don't need to do a name massclaim because if there is obvious flavor (all the scum are checkbox and gimmicks) they probably have falseclaims. Lets just play the damn game.

Vote: rezombad serious vote.

Also my role is MandersHex so this is auto-GOTY.
Is this actually serious

Well at least we have a nice vote chain of:
imopen (rvs), Stardust, slowpoke, kaze,

One of these are scum most likely

@Kaze: Why did you vote for Iso?
Because I <3 RVS wagons.

Doesn't hurt to try.

You against name claiming because you're Checkbox? :P

No, I'm against it because it wastes time this early on, on top of that the scum aren't just going to claim checkbox

I have the name of someone who is involved with MTGS, I'm assuming that the scum will either have falseclaims or just claim a MTGS user.

@kaze, stardust and slowpoke: why did you blindly vote iso without knowledge of how it was a slip?

Posted: Sun Oct 27, 2013 5:25 am

Why do you assume I was blindly following?

Speak now is even worse. There are a lot of gutter members that could possibly be roles. If we hope for this to catch any scum, we need them to claim a name that hasn't yet been claimed by town. Scum going last (or close to last) makes this worthless.

I didn't care about that scumslip nonsense. I just hopped on the wagon because it was there.

I still think a name claim is good stuff once we establish a popcorn order. If nothing else, it'll at least lock scum into a claim early on and give them less flexibility.

And frankly, Captain, your adamant stance against it makes me want you to go towards the beginning.

That was in response to rezombad. Didn't see the second page.

To answer Captain, I voted Iso because the way he tried to format "town" is not the same as is written in my role PM. Weak, but good enough to generate a discussion and a decent wagon to analyze. I assumed that was the slip rezombad was talking about.

More importantly, what "knowledge" do you have that I don't?

What was wrong with the way Iso wrote "town"?

I didn't know how it was a slip, so I didn't vote. I was waiting to see how it was a slip and I still don't see the reason for the 4 votes to be placed.

Lock them into the name they have to claim? What? Are you even listening to yourself?

I don't think scum care at all about what name they have to claim, as long as it passes.

So, guys. Wouldn't a mass name-claim be beneficial? It'd at least be a step in the right direction. If we're looking for Checkboxes, then the scum should all be Checkbox/Checkbox gimmicks, right?

Who's down?
I'm not.

Unvote

I'm sure Yanni couldn't resist putting roles to flavor, so...y'know.

Outing PRs and all that good stuff.
@Iso: Does Kaze look scummy to you right now?
Nope. I'm sure that'll change in a few posts, knowing Kaze's track record, though.

n
p.s. Why is Iso's formatting fixed now?
It was probably a bbcode error from overlapping tags that got fixed by Scumbag/admin.

I didn't edit my post if that's what you're asking.
Well at least we have a nice vote chain of:
imopen (rvs), Stardust, slowpoke, kaze,

Gut says Slowpoke.

Oh look, I was right about Kaze:

Ironic that my attempt to include bold was what messed up my color tags initially, no?

My God, people. I've stated numerous times that RVS wagons are my favorite way to get out of RVS.

So, jumping on random wagons just because you feel like it and you have no reasoning is a town trait now? Sure kaze, sure thing buddy

It wasn't a random wagon, it was the first wagon. And you don't need reasoning in RVS.

You're being obtuse on purpose.

Rezombad is still scum and he's bussing the hell out of Kaze.

Kazekirimaru is scum too.

I kinda skimmed this and it's 2AM but I think imopen2 is also scum.

Tomorrow I do deeper analysis because there's a lot of MS folk here aren't there.

Dude Kaze did you have a reason to jump on that wagon or not.

What was Iso at when you jumped on that wagon.

So, we're 12, how much scum are we supposed to face?
Also, right now lynching is at 7 votes, right?

3 (barring any weird setups) and yes.

(Scum are generally 1/3rd-1/4th of the playerbase; 3 in a 12-person setup is typical.)

Iso said that it was a joke (which may or may not be true), and I may or may not have voted Iso as a joke.

@rezombad: Are you so self-absorbed to think that I blindly followed you? Doesn't the fact that I asked a question mean that I did NOT blindly follow you?

@Captain Murphy: Are you also unable to read posts? lurk moar then ask questions that make sense. I did not blindly vote Iso.

@Stardust: Iso knew that his formatting did not match the PMs, due to the SAMPLE ROLE PMs in the OP. It wasn't a real slip, Iso (as always) knew exaclty what he was doing.

@Kaze: Did you also not read the OP? Iso bolded "Town" when they are not bolded in the PMs.

Unvote.

Vote: Kaze

I appreciate your attempts to not be abrasive since you always seem scummy in my mind based on your playstyle, but the fact that you are not being abrasive so far and still seem scummy is telling. I'm going to hold my vote since I'm not sure what the vote count is and I'm in a rush but I'd like to know what the town motivation is for voting a wagon for no reason.
