Someone came up of idea for BW Affinity and I shuttered at the thought of Ravager and Atheros out at the same time.

So what about Esper Aristocrats in standard? Take the Esper midrange shell, replace some Lyev Skyknights with Atheros, add more Cartel A in the two slot, and use a few of the new City of Brass for mana fixing (since it was its own worst enemy) and you can have a good deck.

I guess, but I love D-Sphere and Ephara too much. Also verdict vs green decks is much better now with Atheros.

You would no longer need Ephara with the BW god as your engine. BW can deal with anything Dsphere can so I don't see a reason for the blue.

Then again the Verdict synergy is nice.

So a control player was talking crap about burn decks how it requires no thought to win against control earlier in the week. The red player that won the event bet with him to trade decks and see how well he would do playing burn at FNM tonight.

He went 2-4, losing all his 3 matches against control. The burn player playing his control deck went 5-0-1.
Just because variance happened doesn't mean he was wrong.

Sword was probably Plastic covered balsa wood. Solid wood would be to heavy. Seen 3 of those so far and only one was usable according to weight. She is hot.

Thank you, everyone.

It was indeed an epic party last night. The theme for this party was Arabian Nights. My wife and photo's lady turned his basement into an arabian-themed campsite, complete with tent, belly dancers, and warming massage oils. My wife ordered us a chocolate and caramel flavored cake shaped like a pyramid.

Much alcohol flowed throughout the night, and good times were had by all.

I haven't seen the whole list. The stream just mentioned that he was maindecking Young Pyromancer and that Satyr Firedancer was in the 75.

It totally looks like he's winging it and doesn't quite have a handle on the format. In his streamed match he boarded in Surgical Extraction g2 vs UWR Delver which is definitely not where you want to be.
