I'm just not sure what is heroic about leaving your fate to a Harkius dragon at the end of your story

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 8:41 pm
by Checkbox
The heroic part was like 5th paragraph or whatever.

WHERE I CUT OFF YOUR HEAD WITH MY DICK.

Not sure if you missed that or not.

Never said the whole story had to be me slaying you. Turns out it didn't take 1000 words. I just had to find myself in the other 700 or so.

This concludes todays role playing on MTGC, thank you for participating. You may now:

1) Turn to page 218 to battle the Harkdragon
2) Return to page 87 and return the sword to the grave

Due to Checkbox's confusing start and ambiguous ending, combined with a try hard dose of mr mauling, he will be getting a special reward for his victory.

HarkDragon should be a long-term forum raid to see who can bait Harkius into the most rage-posts.

the harlem shake is a real thing.
a bunch of (99.9% white) people are bastardizing it on the internet via meme.
many of these people will go on to profit off of bastardizing something that is a real cultural thing for people in harlem.
people in harlem, almost inarguably in a worse place fiscally than white vloggers with a youtube following, will not see a cent of the money earned on a "craze" they had no idea they were starting.

white people with money -- infinity +1; poor black and minority people -- 0

there is a video that outlines the above in real testimonials from harlem natives young and old, but it's longer than 18 seconds so i assume you'd start drooling on yourself if i posted it instead of typing this out.

it's like fashionistas looking down on people wearing trendy fashion they started, except instead of being wealthy bleeding edge fashion icons, they're mostly impoverished, mostly ethnic, and grossly unaware that the internet is turning something they did into a minstrel show.

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:28 pm
by Thrillho
like when i saw my first harlem shake video, the first thought i had was "that's mad racist" followed immediately by "i wonder if the people in harlem realize that white people have made a minstrel show of yet another thing they do"

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:29 pm
by Thrillho
fun fact: in about two years there's not going to be the same harlem people are shaking in anyway so i guess who cares poor minorities lol

You're too uptight

by Kaitscralt
Like picking and choosing which offensive memes you're going to join the luls over and which you're to white knight against is really dumb

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:31 pm
by Kaitscralt
Who gives a fuck about the Harlem shake

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:32 pm
by Thrillho
which racist memes have i chosen to join in

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:34 pm
by Thrillho
also bear in mind that most memes are not immediately profitable in their virality, which is sort of what gets my goat here as someone who is not infrequently in harlem.

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:37 pm
by Thrillho
bear also in mind that i was pissed off about brownfacing for dressing up like a cartoon character

Posted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:39 pm
by Kaitscralt
I'd call that 100 times more understandable.
