There's always age 36 to look forward to.

It's the first age you can legally sleep with someone half your age.

I was disappointed when the world didn't end on my 30th birthday, which was on 12/21/12.

I'll never understand how you guys can manage with your MM/DD/YYYY format. It makes no sense.

... What's wrong with it?

Seems fine to me. In the military we used Day, Month, Year so 4 July 2014 for instance.

See, here's the problem with Month, Day format in a nutshell.

How do you say 20 June? You say "the twentieth of June."

How do you say June 20? You say "June twentieth." That's two less syllables. It takes fifty percent longer to say it the other way. Think of all the time you get to save!

An efficient way to format dates makes it easy to order them. YYYY/MM/DD and DD/MM/YYYY are both good formats, MM/DD/YYYY just makes no sense.
Thumbs up for the US Army here.

Technically speaking, I say "Venti giugno" or "il venti di giugno", directly translating "June twentieth" in italian would make no sense

Well, they're used to having units and measurements that makes absolutely no sense, so a date format that's only slightly wierd is a piece of cake.

It's also more appealing to see numbers in "order." Since days go higher than months, month/day/year will more often be in order from left to right.
Yeah try that with a computer

As usual, living next to the Americans sucks. Both date formats are regularaly used in Canada, meaning that 07/11/14 (and similar) is impossible to decipher without context.

Everyone at my office thinks I'm a freak for preferring the YYYY-MM-DD format. I do it so that the default alphabetical directory listing is date-sorted as a bonus, which keeps me from accidentally working on old versions of projects.

You might want to see this first:

http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the- ... rn-edition

This is a link to Immapwner thread, where he describes his deck's evolution. I think it is better than just seeing Wescoes 1 tournament heavy changes description.

As for manabase Urborg changes noncolored lands into swamps.
Thanks for the link, I'll read through it when I get the chance

@Sasky: Could you post the list later (maybe after the PTQ)?
I think he is playing this:

[deck=]
Creatures:10
4 Dark Confidant
4 Pack Rat
2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos

Spells:27
1 Slaughter Pact
1 Darkblast
1 Disfigure
4 Inquisition of Kozilek
4 Path to Exile
4 Thoughtseize
3 Bitterblossom
1 Doom Blade
3 Liliana of the Veil
4 Lingering Souls
1 Sword of War and Peace

Lands:23
2 Ghost Quarter
4 Godless Shrine
4 Isolated Chapel
4 Marsh Flats
2 Mutavault
2 Plains
2 Swamp
1 Swarmyard
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
1 Vault of the Archangel

Sideboard:15
2 Disenchant
2 Rest in Peace
2 Stony Silence
3 Fulminator Mage
3 Leyline of Sanctity
1 Memoricide
2 Wrath of God
[/deck]

The PTQ is tomorrow, so

The two wraths in the sb are a concession to the difficult hard-aggro matchup, and the bitterblossoms shore up the control
and midrange matchup immensely (archetypes which are prevalent in our meta).

Swarmyard regenerating mutas or pack rats is pretty amazing.

If, however, you were asking about the list which went 15th at the Japanese PTQ, then follow this link:

The decklist is in Japanese though.
