Do you guys think taking similar playstyle decks for 2 different formats of PTQ and WMCQ is worth it?

I am sold on playing my mono green in modern PTQ. Previous day there is a WMCQ in Standard, where I am considering: Boros Burn, PyroBlack/DosRackis agro/control variant, Hooglands Jund or Green Devotion. There is also friday, where there will be all day standard and modern events available. Would playing similar style deck help me out on 3 day mtg grindfest?

Unless your well practiced, sticking with a similar play-style is generally better (though "forcing" a style like playing Burn in Pauper or Modern where its not as effective isn't a good idea either.....).

Not really. All that matters is that you are proficient with your deck and enjoy it.
