Everyone was playing Nightveil main, SB zombies ~ but if you look at the lists that went 6-4 or better (not that there were many MBC lists to do so) tgey had maindeck zombies.

Does anyone have a decklist for what LSV was playing at the Pro Tour?
Rabble Red lists are posted in the RdW thread.

LSV wasn't playing rabble red though. His list was approx(from memory):

4 Foundry Street Denizen
4 Rakdos Cackler
4 Firedrinker Satyr
4 Burning-Tree emissary
4 Mogis Warhound
4 Firefist Striker
3 Chandra's Phoenix
1 Makka

Some chains and boros charms, and stoke the flames

21 Lands(zero scrys)
Sideboard:
temple of abandon
mutavault
chandra pyromaster x3
magma spray x4
Banishing light x??

and something else.

It was basically vals deck without rabblemaster and I'm not a big fan of either(though I like that it plays mogis warhound)

Also, the no win condition UW list is just boring, so I disliked him because of that.
He did play it quite quickly, though.

US player bias much?

Floch has been a hugely successful player for years. Be happy his efforts paid dividends.

I love/hate Floch's deck but I didn't see anything inherently wrong him during the PT. He seemed like a graceful winner to me.

Your opponent conceding is in fact a win condition

Don't be a cocky dick and you're cool in my book, regardless of what deck you're piloting.

Or just be Tom Ross.

Well, Cunningham is Canadian.

But what matters most to me is the quality of the people that serve as the face of the game. People see players who are on SCG streams every weekend. No one sees foreign players often at all.
I was suggesting that as a is based player, you are biased. Strong play making the interpretation that involves me being an idiot instead
of applying some critical thought. Very mighty.

You truly are delusional sometimes James. Even when I agree with points you're maKing you pull air out of nowhere and just sound like a jackass sometimes.

Care today something substantive so a response is actually possible?

A guy from Sneak and Show just posted this fantastic article to reddit:

Give it a read.
I stumbled upon it literally right after finishing up an essay for a college application on the lessons I learned from a failure at my first "big" Magic tournament, namely to lose the feeling that I'm entitled to a single goddamn thing I don't work for and to never make excuses for my losses if I'm looking to improve. It's good to see that there's people worth listening to trying to teach Magic players to quit being such whiners.

The card pictures he added to end each section are also quite funny. Rain of Salt's inclusion made me audibly laugh.

Cunningham is Canadian, so calling US bias makes no sense. Unless you mean it's wrong to have a bias against generically nerdy-looking players, but rooting for the MTG player with the sports cap on instead of a fedora, top hat or other retarded headpiece should be a time-honored tradition.

I personally only support Korean players.

It's wonderfully ironic that you are getting defensive because your own bias made you assume Cunningham is American without actually checking first, and now you must try and fail to snark your way out of it.

Anyone know how to find where the WMCQ for GA is held? When I go to the website, it just links me to all the stores in my area....

I'm happy for Floch. He got DQed in GP Boston on a controversial judge call and he follows it up by winning the PT the next week. He also seems (from afar) like a class act.

He touches on some good points, but he comes off as extremely pretentious. The entire article is essentially a strawman argument, and at times just argues semantics.
Maybe. It was really just exciting to read after I had written something with a similar message for what is probably one of the most important essays I'll ever write

You mean a ME: Modern Elimination or a SE: Standard Elimination?

Just calling it a (insert format) 5-3-2-2 or 8-Man works as well, but the title is too long so I used SE and ME

But, yeah, it's a 5-7-5-3-3-t-6-7-6-5-4-3-5-5-3--4. Whatever.

That's brilliant, I shall update my MTGO aberrations to make SE Single Eliminations (not being sarcastic, when I was making up the aberrations early on it never crossed my mind to use it as Single Elimination).

I lost to a Zealous Persecution blowout + Timely Reinforcements in Game 2 vs B/W Tokens. In Game 3, he made sure I never landed a Legion Loyalist. So, yeah, I lost....at least I got my entry back.
