If you chose to cast Howl of the Horde from her flip, things get more complex. Is that what you're asking?

Either one, actually.

The 2nd case is more fun. I'll include the status of the triggers at the end of each step, where appropriate.

Step 1: Cast the 1st copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 2: 1st Chandra copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 3: Cast the 2nd copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 4: Delayed trigger fires and goes on the stack (-1 trigger)
Step 5: Trigger resolves, creating a copy of Howl of the Horde which goes on the stack
Step 6: Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 7: 2nd copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
(there are 2 triggers now)
Step 8: Cast the 3rd copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 9: Both delayed triggers fire and go on the stack (-2 triggers)
(there are 0 triggers now)
Step 10: First trigger resolves, creating a copy of Howl of the Horde which goes on the stack
Step 11: Howl of the Horde resolves,
creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 12: Second trigger resolves, creating a copy of Howl of the Horde which goes on the stack
Step 13: Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 14: 3rd Chandra copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
(there are 3 triggers now)
Step 15: Cast Lightning Bolt
Step 16-99: A bunch of triggers resolve and make 1 copy of Lightning Bolt each
Step 9000: 4 Lightning Bolts!

If you pull it off with Raid... (I'll take some shortcuts to save space)

Step 1: Cast the 1st Chandra copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 2: 1st Chandra copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 3: Cast the 2nd Chandra copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 4: Delayed trigger fires and goes on the stack (-1 trigger)
Step 5: Trigger resolves, creating two copies of Howl of the Horde which go on the stack
Step 6: 1st copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating
a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 7: 2nd copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 8: 2nd Chandra copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
(there are 3 triggers now)
Step 9: Cast the 3rd Chandra copy of Howl of the Horde from Exile
Step 10: Three delayed triggers fire and go on the stack (-3 triggers)
(there are 0 triggers now)
Step 11: First trigger resolves, creating two copies of Howl of the Horde which go on the stack
Step 12: 1st copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 13: 2nd copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 14: Second trigger resolves, creating two copies of Howl of the Horde which go on the stack
Step 15: 1st copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 16: 2nd copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 17: Third trigger resolves, creating two copies of Howl of
the Horde which go on the stack
Step 18: 1st copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 19: 2nd copy of Howl of the Horde resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
Step 20: 3rd Chandra copy resolves, creating a delayed trigger (+1 trigger)
(there are 7 triggers now)
Step 21: Cast Lightning Bolt
Step 22-99: A bunch of triggers resolve and make two copies of Lightning Bolt each
Step 9000: 15 Lightning Bolts!

tl;dr trigger warning

Maverick and Goblins may not have been the best decks and both had wholes in them, but they where certainly viable until True Name nemesis was printed.
Goblins simply swarms through it with Piledrivers and by building a large board prescense, Maverick may have a problem with that card, but I still contend that maverick was simply outclassed by both Jund and Death and Taxes as fair decks.

I agree the format has gotten largely stale/boring with the printing of TNN, but literally every competitive format of Magic is boring IMO

I'm pretty sure that's the nature of SnS, and has basically nothing to do with Tom Ross.
I believe he was poking at the nature of Legacy / combo, not Tom Ross, who my phone just wanted to call Tom Toss
I still prefer my tl;dr.

No.

90% of the time, walkers drop in value after release.

Good ones don't. Sarkhan seems like the kind of card that is good enough to warrant at least a $20 price tag going forward. I'd be willing to risk $20 to spec on him though.

not sure how to help "get a discussion going" without replying to the threads and creating new ones (both of which I've done)? I'm continuing to post in there...

Is it just the foils that spiked? I'm actually surprised that I was able to buy textless ones for less than a buck each, given how strong that card is in multiple formats.

I didn't mean it in a bad way, but he said "thanks guys" as if someone had taken over spoiler duty or something

ah, gotcha. I thought about volunteering but with my second year of law school starting tomorrow, and this being full time as opposed to part time, I'm not sure I'll be reliable.

I never check spoilers, spoiler season for me starts at my prerelease. Makes it easier to evaluate cards when I've never seen them before, since I ACTUALLY READ THEM.

Well, I have someone read them too me. Everyone here is fully aware that I'm not high functioning enough to know how to read.

The promos have doubled in price.

I always wondered why they made a textless Searing Blaze when Searing Blaze has SO MUCH reminder text on it by default. Like, why not do some other burn spell that just does damage without a variable? :\

I never read cards after I'm "familiar" with them and it comes back to bite me in the ass sometimes. It's inherent arrogance.

I don't even know what my cards do half the time, I simply play by feel and sometimes my opponents rage quit
