I'll definitely get a playset of Bloodstained Mire and maybe Wooded Foothills. Might get one of each of the others for EDH.

I just need to get 2 Mires and I'm finished

My brother on the otherhand wants to collect a set despite me repeatedly telling him "you can just use the ones we have you realize"

but alas....

I said "Can I use that in a song?"

She said "I mean the end begins."

I said "I know......Can I use that too?"

To be fair, most people on this site aren't really competitive.

I'd say, Z, Khaos, L_D, Purp, Pedros, and Myself are about it, with Kait and MDU doing the modo thing.

Everyone else plays when they can, but me and everyone else I mentioned along with myself are the only ones who actually travel to big events semi-regularly while also having realistic ambitions of doing well.
Pretty much. I'm very competitive when I play but family life precludes me from traveling to big events. It's even hard to get on MODO these days.

It may not be too bad against Delver decks, but I'm fairly certain Miracles pushes your shit in and Shardless has to be a rough match up

There is no point in playing a non blue deck in legacy unless you are trying to be scrump an have fun.

I wonder if Z thinks Tom Ross is a boss or is a scrump.

Someone edit this post to put the scrump mascot picture in.

I play burn in legacy events because I am good with it, no one prepares for it, and I don't play in that many legacy events so it's capable of spiking a tournament.

That being said, I enjoy UR delver because my buddy Andrew Shneider always gives me his current list.

If I had the ability to pick any legacy deck and have all the cards, it would be bug delver.

I'm playing BUG Delver in legacy, it's sweet.

Tom Ross is a top notch guy, not a Scrumper.

In general Purp I'm not that interested in interacting with you anymore. I'm ok with giving the occasional deck advice but beyond that leave it be.

There are competitive non blue decks in legacy like Death and Taxes and Painters servant.

I personally just don't like the format and think it's bad.

Also, Tom Ross is a champ.

Back to back invitational wins with effectively the same decks both times including beating Reid Duke in the finals of this one? Seems legit.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

I get that there are non blue decks, but I don't think those players enter tournaments expecting to win, instead they pray for good matchups.

The rage facebook block was cute too.

Esper / Grixis are the main decks improved by the new fetches; GW decks like Boggkes and Hatevears improve too.

[deck]Mardu Midrange[/deck]
Been wanting to make a
Mardu beats deck for Modern but Red, white and black lack the aggressive beater as Goyf or Scavenging Ooze. Playing Ham's Boros Deck and if it does not pan out I may switch to Jund or attempt a Mardu build also.

Grixis in modern?

I want to believe. People just have to get over Cruel Ultimatum being even remotely playable for the archetype to move forward.

So much whine in my post. Be honest, you are salty because I am no longer on my knees praising you as a red god. All you have done since I have known you is day 2 a standard gp which I have yet to attend. Even at the peak of your articles, when your cfb
comrades had no idea who you were at the invitational , I was there defending your name to Owen and Huey. You need to be honest with yourself, you may be "someone" in Australia mtg community, but in the US more people say "who?" When I mention your name rather than say "oh the cfb guy".

I have had FB deactivated for over a month now, only hopping on it to get in touch with someone if I don't have their number, which happened today, but alas is back deactivated. Don't worry, you are still in my top friends when I activate for 5 mins, it even says "James will miss you" when I reclose it
