I don't care much about being competitive in Commander, I just want to play big effects and laugh out loud when I actually manage to do something.

The important thing is not that you win, but that you piss off everyone else with your shenanigans.

People don't realize Barnes and Noble sells Magic cards. If you have them in your area, go check them out. Last year, I made several trips to five and picked up seven of the Esper ones, a month AFTER they've been out.
Wasn't Grixis the expensive one?
Whoops, yeah I meant Grixis. It was the ones with TNN and Strix.

If I could get outside the house more often to play, I'd never log on.

"It depends on your definition. I can't think of any reason to own a fully equipped Boeing AH-64 Apache attack helicopter but if I am ever stuck on an island with a group of people who have pointy sticks, I'm going to make a pointy stick.
Decreasing the availability of something rarely decreases a market for it and it is not the availability of firearms that is the issue, it is the availability of idiots. Some form of balance between education and legislation is required. The government doesn't ban cars just because they are sometimes used illegally but they do make you wear seat belts. Blaming a gun for someone being shot may be like blaming a fork for making Rosie O'Donnell fat but limiting her access to the cutlery drawer couldn't hurt. It may be suggested that educating her on the dangers of obesity might be as effective as blocking the availability of forks, but that would require far more effort."

Strangely enough, due to multiple car accidents and a few years of football, I can do just that.

I feel older. Three in diapers doesn't age you well, but it gives you a lot more patience which is nice.

This is a weird country. Everyone speaks English in varying degrees. Aside from the obvious (Brits and Aussies), only the Filipinos speak it well. I guess that should be obvious, too. Whatever. The Arabs speak the next best English, and it's mostly intelligible. The Koreans that I work with are really hit or miss. I think their vocabulary is low enough that they don't try complicated sentences.

It's the Indians that are really hard to understand. You know how when you're learning a new language and you speak it slowly? Well, the Indians don't do that. They just go full speed and heavy accent. It's like their words go through a grinder at a thousand RPM. Imagine trying to read a poorly written essay that had been passed through a shredder, set on fire, then pissed on by a dog.

(Dot Indians, by the way, not the feather kind of Indians)

Had a physics teacher with a heavy indian accent, had no problem

the dude also talked real loudly so there was no question as to what he said

Indians love to talk loudly one on one for some reason.

Fun fact: They also tend to order the worse combination for vegetarian pizza when I worked at a pizza place. I don't understand how so many loved the combination of olives with pineapple.

And to poke fun of other races: Black people didn't tip half the time, FOB Asians don't understand what pepperoni is, Mexicans add jalapenos to all their pizzas, and white people always think ranch sauce is free and is offended when I can't give them it for free.

Abzan Midrange is the safe bet, but if control becomes more and more popular, it won't do as well. I personally like the aggro variant.
