Buddy of mine getting back into standard, used to play old Jund in the swagtusk days... Should he invest into abzan midrange, abzan aggro or Mardu? I am telling him midrange because its the default top dog, with the ability to tweak into different strategies etc.

I prefer to play Control, but can be EASILY swayed
see: a GOOD green/red deck makes me salivate (huntmaster, GSZ, swords) , b/r zombies when it was the best deck, Jeskai tokens
