Khaos, are you going to GP Miami? If you are, I might book a flight tomorrow.

I've picked up my friends bad habit of handling tilt by spending lots of money unnecessarily for things I won't use/do poorly at.

Tote's gonna jam sidisi soulflayer.

Decks actually consistent. My buddy convinced me after he destroyed me in a couple games pre-tourney last night. Turns out 3 flying hexproof soulflayers beat 4 mantis riders+grandmaster+infinite stoke the flames.

Just have to figure out the green ramp matchup and develop a good anti-ashiok plan.

I saw Karsten's article last night. Haven't tested it, but his mana-base might be better since you sacrifice non-relevant consisitency(still hit your green 2 drops on time) for a more realistic ability to bestow chromanticore which is actually game winning and comes up a lot of the time.

Also like the use of maindeck miscutter since giving your soulflayer haste is very powerful and an affect you want access to since you often play long games where you see most of your deck. Our version also runs more sultai charms so we can filter through cards and get our abilitites into the GY easier. It's funny how much life you save and value you get from blocking with your caryatids more often so that you can get a hexproof guy.

I have a feeling it will probably be a popular deck in Miami.

Stubborn Denial got tested and was too inconsistent so negate gets the nod in the board.

3 Sultai charms because the card does everything. Destroys chains, vaults, and random problem creatures and digs you to your good spells while pitching stuff you want to delve away.

Torrent elemental gives inevitability in some machups while also serving as a huge trump in others. Soul of innistrad doubles as a sort of a long term inevitability card in grindy matchups. Also Pharika. Did I mention this deck grinds well?

I could see cutting thoughtseizes and/or a mistcutter hydra in the board for additional copies of murderous cut as anafenza is kind of a beating.

Updated the manabase from the strictly sultai+confluence one so that I could actually bestow/cast chromanticore which should make a big difference in the devotion matchup. Last card I'd want to make room for in the main would be Sagu Mauler but I'm not sure if that actually does anything that the deck needs. Another hexproof threat would obv be nice but I think that ends pretty well covered and it just walks into Elspeth and crux which are two of the very few cards which interact favorably with my deck.

I want to play Sultai Control. Feels a lot like Jund Planeswalkers from last year which was a deck I enjoyed immensely and I felt like it fit my play style well.

It's more controlling and less powerful than Jund Planeswalkers but that's because Rakdos Return was a hell of a rimjob

methinks he has lost too many times to the 4/5
