The VD thread is just in Standard - not Standard Competitive or the R/x sub.

I can't see any of the competitive subforums on MTGS. What happened? My subscription to R/x sligh, Gruul sligh, etc are all gone.

April Fools or something?
I was about to say the same thing. Is this an FoS punishment or something?

Pfft, not that it matters. When I need R/x (or really any) advice, I should just come here to the folks who actually know what they're talking about.

I think something got legitimately fucked up and they're just now getting it back up.

Either that or it's another pathetic April Fools thing.

I can't remember the name of the guy I've seen using that pic on MTGS, but is that just some internet meme pic, or is it the ACTUAL pic of one of the more irritating guys from MTGS?

Oh, and the VD thread? Just read that. It made me want to punch babies. It really irritated me.

Someone should recruit metamorph to come over here, so he doesn't get overwhelmed with QUITE as much raw stupidity.

They are back up now. I think the forums just crapped on themselves in one specific portion. Perhaps our exodus produced a black hole that swallowed the competitive subforums with it temporarily?

Just read the VD thread. At first I was like "Okay, some people with really good responses on why the card sucks." Then I scrolled down more and started laughing uncontrollably. If it weren't so funny I'd probably cry.

THAT'S him! Man, I must have blocked that name, and ALL interactions with him from my mind.

I remember he's annoying, but can't remember why.

So it's redthirst who's Rywads in disguise! I knew it!

Also, as ham has pointed out, I'm all the other members of FoS too.

So you're Rywads as well.

And we would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddling kids.

Oh yeah, and everyone should be able to post in the restricted FoS forum now so go try that out and lmk if you have any issues.

After 3 weeks, I can say that I'm out of stomach problems. Now I have to recall how chocolate, chips, pizza and so on taste.

Glad you're feeling I'm better. I'm finally feeling better after being blah basically all of March myself. Ready to get my ass back to the gym and tear it up and get on the path to looking good naked.

So I hope that everyone's holiday was better than mine. I almost didn't post this because I feel like all I'm doing lately is posting negative stuff. But I had to get this off my chest. I got in a huge fight with my dad on Easter. He was drunk, which he seems to do every time there is a family function. He started picking on my kids and I told him, "I think it's time for you to shut up." He then proceeded to yell at me over random shit that had nothing to do with me. He was very passive aggressive and not really making sense. I told my wife and kids to get in the car and at that point I thought we were actually going to get into a physical altercation. I just said, "See ya. Have a nice life." And I left. We were only there for about 20 minutes. That was my holiday, and now I'm sitting at work typing this, wishing I was back in bed.

Sorry about the family stuff SM.

I'm no stranger to the situation - I had a rather shitty relationship with my father too. I don't really know what to tell you, but my personal plan was to spend as little time as possible with the man until he became so demented that he forgot how to be an asshole. After that, I just kept him beered up until he passed.

It's probably not the most elegant plan, but it worked for me.

Good luck.

I totally had to go to Google to find a good picture of me, because I don't Facebook, ahaha.

Yes, I used to be Prince Eric when I first started working for Disney.

If you've ever seen the girls they have playing the Disney princesses, you'd wear the shoulder pads too.

@ Dane - yes, I completely agree with you about the jealously issue. Fortunately, my MTG buddy is somebody that I've known for some years and we've actually talked about this sort of situation before. It was definitely understood that Saturday night was the result of too much Everclear (ugh....) and just simply 3 people having a good time.

RE: Vexing Devil thread - I read the first page and left in disgust, my faith in mankind destroyed. Then I hopped on over to the "super secret thread with pictures" and my faith in humanity was restored. Still laughing at RT's pic.

And here's a picture for photodyer and redthirst :

I'm glad for you too. It's a good idea going back to gym. I'll start again my home exercises, even if, since the nature of my problems, I went down 4 kg.

The Vexing Devil thread definitely made me shake my head. A card like that is basically a test of whether or not you know anything about MTG, and apparently lots of people are failing.

So, completely unrelated to everything, but this is where we put our bragposts and successes.

I just got an email from one of my professors telling me he wants me to submit my term paper/abstract to a journal for publishing.

So...I guess this is a notice of potential future success. But even the encouragement from this professor is pretty encouraging.

Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is literally just a giant breeding pool underground. The break rooms aren't break rooms at all, they're "discreet, designated banging areas."

You don't want to do that if you have a real job.

Every place I've been it's been one of those "everyone knows but nobody knows type deals" - so it's not a problem... until there's a problem... and then it's a big problem.

Like, people losing their jobs big.

Which, if you're banging the owner's daughter in the meat freezer is not a big deal because - sex with hot teen > minimum wage summer job - but I wouldn't risk 30k+ a year to do it.

I don't know what I would have made annually had I kept working at Magic Kingdom (I only did it for six months and then I transferred to Saratoga Springs,) but I made a pretty disgusting amount of money for my efforts while also banging Disney princesses on breaks.

That job was awesome. If it hadn't been for the daily borderline heat stroke I would have totally kept doing it.

Is there anything in the castle at the Magic Kingdom?

Like, can you throw a baller party in there?
