I'm all for family friendly to an extent. What bothers me it that a mod that averages 8+ posts a day is, at the same time, an incredibly biased and abusive pillar of authority and apparently untouchable. Throw in the fact that they're also a gender confused genius, and family friendly goes right out the window

My friend and I came up with a magic version of chess like 9 years ago. We just used a communal deck is various burn spells and gave each piece a toughness. Pawn =1 knight, bishop, an castle =3, queen =5, and king is unkillable I think was what we had. You gained mana resources by winning pieces at the same rate as their toughness. They were one time use. I believe we started with 2 spells in hand and drew 1 every turn
