Oh have I talked about everything in america or just a few subject so that somehow comes across as me knowing it all?

i was the only person raising a stink about che when you said that, so either you're making a random assertion about americans -which i am- with no context nested in the context of a dialog about che, making it a retarded fucking thing to throw in because how can it be anything other than a confusing statement, or you're assuming i don't like che because i, an american, confuse socialism with communism and know by birthright that communism is evil, which is also a retarded assumption.
No I actually assumed you were being whimsical by saying "Fuck person X". I brought up
socialism and how the perception in america is off imo
and you are not aware that these points were raised in the context of an american having immediately said "fuck che guevara" prior to you extolling che's works.

CM, do you believe that, had Guevera lived in a time and place that hadn't hardened him to the skill of guerilla warfare, he would have still been amazing?
Yes because it wasn't just that. The whole CIA getting involved and then having to assassinate him is amazing on the part of the US.
See I don't know as I believe that you can separate the person from his circumstances like that. You can talk about how Che was amazing "except for that unfortunate bloodbath" but it was that bloodbath that allowed him to effect his policies. Everyone is a fucking Napoleon.
Again it doesn't mean I approve
Whaja? Flabbal? Hurble durdle?

So if Guevera was just some kid from the Bronx who liked to stay at home and play XBox and maybe troll message boards in his spare time he's still amazing!?
If he wrote books and did public speaking maybe. You are acting as if he did one thing where Che
did a lot as an individual. Not just the army training thing
So he'd write books and make speeches about the awesomeness of Xbox and message boards and somehow this would foment enough dissent amongst the masses to change the world?

Yes and that's why I brought up Che but the reason I brought up Socialism was because of Che, not you cursing him. You aren't that special thrills

If they were good articles I would find them amazing just like I find the bioware articles I read amazing. Its just that the context is less serious

You said Guevera was amazing, and your later line of reasoning has been that he was amazing despite his actions or
circumstances. That means that the only really possible reason you think he's amazing is because of his ideals. Everyone has ideals, man, some pretty good ones too, but that either means you think every thing ever is amazing or that you approve of ideals that you feel are most in line with what you believe to be the best of all possible ideals... since you approve of Bioware articles, and say that those are amazing as well, I can come to the conclusion that you think they should influence worldwide social policy like Guevera did. Either that or you walk around in a constant state of bliss amazed at everything, which is the less likely possibility.

Only some ideals are interesting. I'm a gamer so of course I find gaming shit interesting. Maybe if you asked if Che was involved in motorsport would I find him amazing and I would say no.
